this is the first book of the series. it is the standard. killer sudoku is a combination of Sudoku and Kakuro. it has the rules of both. not only do all the rows, columns and subsquares have all the digits, but the cells are grouped such that each group has a sum. has become my favorite puzzle. although the book is normal paperpack size, the puzzles are as big as the larger selling competition versions. no waste of small and simple puzzles, it is a book filled with brown and black belt level. highly recommended - the whole series. best of genre

Having done Su Doku for some 5 years now if it's not challenging it's not worth doing for me. This book provides that challenge, and it's small size makes it a great time filler for public transportation - just don't miss your stop!

I am glad I finally found a book that I won't finish in a week.
I would recommend this to everyone that likes a challenge!

If you've worked your way up through mild to extreme and got to the deadlies then there's no going back, so this collection of exclusively deadly puzzles is a no-waste buy. In fact if you use a pencil you can rub out your answers and go back to the beginning thus creating an everlasting hobby. Some of these I cannot finish and that's OK. I'm in this for the mental struggle not the triumph. NB I got married. I'm not Annabel Frost, I'm Annabel Lawson.

I'm sorry, but this book did not impress me. The paper is poor quality and the lines on the paper are not very well defined.
