This is a beautifully retro experience. And the "flick" sound! Just incredible. Put it up on a shelf though, it's relatively flimsy in appearance and I wouldn't trust it to much handling.

Did I mention the "flick" of the time flipping over?

Great value for the price! Yeah - it's got some cheapy materials - plastic and metal - but it's a fragile clock that you wouldn't let a kid play with anyway! Works great and looks really nice - comparable to clocks costing twice as much!

This is an amazing retro flip clock. The sound of the ticking is perfect. The batteries, though not included, the more you pay the more life of the clock you will get. The choice is either duracell or panassonic. It makes a perfect gift for old and young people who have vision problems. The numbers are clear and big. Every time it changes an hour, and when I'm near, my eyes jump to mark the beginning of the next hour! 12:59 then! Voila 1:00

This clock keeps excellent time, works perfectly, and looks beautiful! Just like the old days. Fairly quiet as well.

I have this exact clock although it doesn't have the Timex label. I purchased it direct from China on Ebay. Everyone who sees this clock at my house loves it. For the under 30 crowd it's a real novelty as most have never seen the flip technology. The numbers are big and easy to read across the room. The flipping mechanism itself is fairly quiet, but you can here the subtle whirring of the clock from 15 feet away. The clock seems fairly durable. The main components are metal (except for the plastic flip numbers), whereas the casing for the battery is plastic. Despite the noise I love the clock.

my son chose the clock based on it's appearance, which I might add is quite interesting. However, the quality of the clock is very disappointing. It was imported from an Asian country, manufactured there as well, as is cheaply constructed. The price on this was over $100.00; I would not have paid more than $20.00 for it had I seen it in person vs. online. I will also let you know that there was a packing slip in the box (which I had to go to the UPS station and pick it up as they would not deliver the imported item) that stated the item should have been a total of $28.00, including the international postage, so that shows you it was misrepresented as well as overcharged!! I am not sure how Amazon can get away with allowing this to happen! I would rate this not even one star if possible!! I feel I was ripped off and the seller should be made to refund my money!!!!!
