5.0 out of 5 stars Ease of use at an affordable price
The great thing about Timex Ironman is that there are tags on the face screen that guide the user (or parent) through the steps needed to adjust the display and use the features. Ironkid is an affordable and right sized version of this user friendly watch. And the construction appears to be as sturdy as the adult version.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not water resistant!
Note that this watch is not at all water resistant. 8 months after purchase, it is fogging up on the inside, and the light no longer works. My son doesn't swim or bathe with it, but I am sure it gets splashed on when he washes his hands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent watch choice for tweens, November 4, 2008

This review is from: Timex Children's T7B201 Blue Nylon Quartz Watch with Grey Dial (Watch)
Bought this watch at [...]. Was replacing a Casio G Shock Junior watch. My 11 y.o. son excels at losing or breaking things. This watch was better than I expected. The bike at the top constantly moves or changes to swimming, running, etc... he enjoys watching it. He uses all the features including the alarm which was easy to set. This watch has lasted almost a year and I would replace it with the same if he lost it. It's waterproof too and the watchstrap is easy to use. Velcro allows it to adjust to a small wrist, or any size. I would HIGHLY recommend this watch for a kid. There is a lime green version also which I assume is for girls which I saw on [...]. Much better than what I've found in local department stores.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product; good price., August 24, 2009
This review is from: Timex Children's T7B201 Blue Nylon Quartz Watch with Grey Dial (Watch)
Got this for our son for his 5th birthday. He loves it 'cause it's "just like Daddy's!" Because it is so similar to my husband's watch, he had no trouble setting the time and date. Even I was surprised at how easy it is to navigate. One downside is that my son cannot yet read, so he has to just memorize which button does what, but that will soon enough be remedied. Seems to be made very sturdy and durable. Over all: well pleased with our purchase.

One of the buttons stopped working after 3 days on the first watch we received. Amazon immediately sent a replacement. The second one has worked well. My 10 year old son really likes it. He uses the stopwatch often.

I bought this as a surprise first day of school gift for my 10 year old son. I couldn't believe how excited he was about the watch and all of its features. He has been thanking me for two days and has independently set the watch and using features. It is lightweight and easy to put on alone. very pleased!

5.0 out of 5 stars Timex Kids' Iron Kids Fast Wrap Watch, October 26, 2009

This review is from: Timex Children's T7B201 Blue Nylon Quartz Watch with Grey Dial (Watch)
My 11 year old son has tried many watches over the years, and this is the first watch that fits (a little big, but better than most), doesn't have babyish graphics, and seems to be easy to program. Many watches end up being a big mess because the kids push the buttons and the prgramming gets jumbled, but this watch requires a concerted effort when pushing the buttons, so the chances of accidental button pushing is eliminated.

We wanted my son to have a watch with an alarm, and this one looked great. He just loved it, wore it all the time. Unfortunately, some other kid loved it too, and it got stolen at school. I will order another one to replace it. Didn't have it THAT long, only about a month, but it worked fine while we had it. Looks sporty, and the velcro is nice for the young boys. I recommend this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Water-Resistance Incorrect, September 9, 2011
This review is from: Timex Children's T7B201 Blue Nylon Quartz Watch with Grey Dial (Watch)
Purchased watch in April 2011. Son wore it to our community pool a few times, display showed water damage and no longer works. With shipping cost and $7 service fee required under warranty, I might as well purchase a new watch. Would not buy again.
