Pedometer works OK, but belt clip is fragile,
This review is from: Timex Easy to Read Pedometer (Sports)
This pedometer works great -- while it is able to stay clipped to your belt or waistband.The Bad: For a month, I clipped this pedometer to my average-size leather belt in the morning, wore it all day, and unclipped it at night. Then the belt clip broke off. I exchanged the pedometer for a new one, and a month later, under the same conditions, the belt clip broke again! I called Timex customer service, and they do not offer replacements for the belt clip, even though it is a part that can be separated from the pedometer. Sheesh. The retailer I purchased the pedometer from said they are willing to replace it a second, and last, time. They said another customer returned the pedometer, also due to belt clip breakage, and they will not restock this product. Annoying, but Not Horrible: Despite it being the smallest of the three buttons, I found the "reset" button was too easy to accidentally push. I never had this happen while wearing the device, only while taking it off. The Good: I feel the device is an accurate step counter. The LCD display has good contrast, and the numbers are large enough to read easily. Because of the pedometer's design, the LCD display is also easily readable while the pedometer is clipped to your belt! The device is also very light, and doesn't feel cheap (although see earlier comment about the belt clip). The pedometer comes with good paper instructions, also available as a PDF on Timex's website. Timex also includes an extra button-cell battery - nice, but sadly, I didn't get a chance to use it.

Defective Belt Clip,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Timex Timex Ironman Pedometer (Misc.)
I purchased this pedometer from WATCH-N-THINGS two or so weeks ago and can confirm the other reviewer's experience with a broken belt clip.It didn't break the first three times I clipped it to my waistband, but, alas, it snapped in half the next time and on a thin running shorts waistband at that. I wrote WatchNThings a respectful letter suggesting a vendor/company acknowledgment of the defect in the item description. I particularly emphasized that I was not seeking a replacement and/or refund (in fact, I had already left positive feedback for the fast delivery). The responsible action of a responsible vendor is a cautionary note about possible defects. Once that is posted, I'll remove this review. In the meantime, buyer beware . . . 2115|R1WMDA1S07EPMP;2115|R1MHAJOEK79VR4;
