4.0 out of 5 stars Completely inaccurate pace & distance calculations
*** Unable to lower rating
I was originally thrilled to get this watch because of all the great features, but ladies should be forewarned that it is a very large watch face, especially for a thin wrist. It is certainly bulkier than I want to wear as an "everyday" watch.

3.0 out of 5 stars Misread the "lap" print
If you are looking for a watch to let you keep tabs of the number of laps you have done so that you can mindlessly swim without counting, this is not the watch for you. It times laps, and actually allows you to recall how you did on one lap v. another, but it does not count them.

Also the instructions keep referring to things that are not there: + and -...

I was originally thrilled to get this watch because of all the great features, but ladies should be forewarned that it is a very large watch face, especially for a thin wrist. It is certainly bulkier than I want to wear as an "everyday" watch.

After I played with the watch for a week, I would actually change my rating if I could (1 or 2):
I don't know if there was a problem with the watch I bought or if this is a common problem, but I calibrated it 4 times, and it still would not accurately calculate distance and pace. I ran 3 miles in 33 minutes, and it told me I ran a 59 minute mile pace for a total of 0.4 miles.

It seemed to calculate steps accurately so I don't think it was a battery issue.

Also the instructions keep referring to things that are not there: + and - buttons, etc. In fairness, there is some size -10 font print written around the face, but even with my glasses on, I can not read it and don't want a watch I have to look at through a magnifying glass.

Was really excited to get the watch for swimming but will have to return it unfortunately.

I like this watch. It does what it says it can do. And it's not too big and bulky to wear everyday. I did have some difficulty calibrating the watch for walking and jogging, but once I got it done, it's worked well. I'm still having fun playing with it and all the things it can do!

I loved this watch. Cute and waterproof. Then, the band started to peel away from the watch. Not so cute now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Timex Ironman T5K092 fitness watch, April 26, 2010

I wanted something I could use to estimate my mileage when I was running on unfamiliar trails. This not only gave me fairly accurate numbers (believe me, i checked on known trails), but was easy to use.

5.0 out of 5 stars This watch rocks!!!!!!!, December 5, 2010

This watch replaced an older Ironman watch, & it does so much more! My primary reason for this watch was for the interval timers which I have been accustomed to using when I do 1/2 marathons. This watch does that & so much more.

The pedometer is awesome. I am still trying to get my step in sync with miles. Right now, I am about 1.5 miles in advance. Any suggestions are appreciated.

All in all, highly recommend!!! Happy Running!!!
