It's analog, it keeps nearly perfect time (+ or - 15-30 sec. over a six month period), its large face offers the time quickly with one glance, it's inexpensive.

    Perfect!

I like simple and I like things that are worth their money. This quiet analog watch is worth
every penny I spent. You can't go wrong with simple.

This Timex is encased in a simple silver case, mineral window, black face with white easy to
read large numbers, second hand, Indiglo Night-light and a date window. It comes equipped
with a simple black smooth calfskin leather band that compliments the black face.

Oh, and if you are so inclined you can take this simple utilitarian watch down to 99 feet of
water and it allegedly will survive. Okay maybe only into the shower but this depends how
much risk you are willing to take. Shower or 99 feet; your choice. ;)

I can say, having purchased this item March 2011, that it is 'still ticking' and still accurate
from day one. I have always relied on Timex for my time keeping needs. I still have my Seiko
gold watch, given to me at work for a 10 year anniversary, but the Timex is the watch I wear
on a daily basis. The only thing I've replaced has been the 18mm wide leather band.

I give this watch 5 stars because it performs well under office and exterior work conditions
and is reasonably priced. Oh, and did I say it is simply elegant for $25?

UPDATE June 2014: This watch is still ticking and on time. I have been wearing it every day
without a blip or problem. A great casual watch. I love it.

I've had the watch for about a month. the band is nice and has held together well and as long as you don't get rough with it, it should last a while. Also, the white numbers make it very easy to read in the dark so unless its "really" dark you dont need the Indiglo feature. When you do need the Indiglo it lights up the whole face which is nice. for 30 bucks you will have a hard time finding a watch as nice as this one. I give it 5 stars.

The watch itself has no problems, you get what you pay for. As what everyone else said, it is kind of loud. Which shouldn't be a huge problem if you just store it somewhere else. I don't really notice the sound much. But I can see how it would be loud to some.

The most annoying part of the watch was that the Indiglo glow-in-the-dark feature didn't work perfectly. When you press the button, a small portion of the watch would not light up. A small semi-circle beneath the 6 on the face of the watch remains black after you press in the button for the Indiglo feature.

While this isn't a complete deal-breaker, it does get annoying how the watch does not light up fully in the dark.

On a side note, however, Amazon customer service is wonderful and was so helpful in my returning the watch.

This is my third Timex indiglo watch. I have enjoyed all three. I use it as a flashlight when travelling. Normal use is for checking the time when waking during the night. Even without my glasses I can read the time on these. Great innovation!

I really like how light and thin this watch is. It is extremely comfortable to wear every day. The band appears to be rugged enough for work, but I oil it often to counteract the sweat and dirt. Timex has always been a reliable watch brand for me, but I've tried a lot of other inexpensive watches to find the right fit for the price. This Easy Reader is just right and I'm sure it will last me for years. Thanks Timex for another winner.

I recieved my first Timex as a gift in 1969 and it still tics although I stopped wearing decades ago. I've owned a number of different wrist watches, some were quite expensive and elaborate. However, as I 've grown older and a bit more practical, none really appeals to me as much as the "easy reader" that I'm writing about now.
It's an inexpensive but dependably accurate watch and what more could you want for your money?

These Easy readers have been my daily watch for the past five years. I always have one in brown and one in black. They tell, time, look nice without seeming tacky or gaudy, and at this price point I don't have to worry about one biting the dust from time to time. The only line of watches I'd ever recommend and as long as they make them, the only ones I'll buy.
