The Timex OVA Ironman Triathlon Watch is a tough timepiece designed to withstand a tough triathlon, and all the training that goes with it. Constructed with a lightweight resin case, the watch includes a stationary plastic bezel and a blue resin wristband with an adjustable buckle clasp. A durable mineral window shields the large blue-shaded digital-gray dial face, which displays time as well as the day, date, and month. Four black and blue buttons decorate the bezel and include mode, set/recall, Indiglo, and stop/reset functions. A prominent blue start/lap button rests above the 12 o'clock position. This athletic timepiece is powered by digital-quartz movement and is water resistant to 330 feet.

Not for everyone,
I purchased this and returned it. When they say it is worn on the small part or thin part of your wrist, it means the inside of the wrist. For some this may be okay, but for me it was very uncomfortable. I didn't like having to turn my wrist ti see the time. Check out Nike Triax instead. The face is on an angle, is very easy to read, and very comfortable.

This is a unique watch which is different from the way you would normally wear a watch. Instead of wearing this watch either on the top of your wrist or the bottom, this watch is worn on the side of your wrist. It is great when you are riding a bike because just a glance is enough to see the time. The only draw back in my opinion is the face of the watch is smaller than my other ironman watches.

As a cyclist and runner I loved the fit of this watch as it sat on the narrow inside part of my wrist. This made viewing things like interval timers very easy while riding head down with my hands on the brake hoods or gripping the shifters on my clip on aero bars without having to lift my hands to rotate my wrist. Unfortunately it has an irreplacable band which seems succeptable to cracking and ultimately breaking with very little use. I did not get nearly the life out of the watch I wanted and now have a useless timepiece with no way to replace the band. Tsk tsk Timex.......
