UPDATE: After of FIVE years of continuous wear, it is still keeping excellent time, and on the original battery!
And it has never once fogged again.
It is battery powered, with the initial battery intended to last a decade. It uses an analog style face with hour, minute, and second hands. It is packaged and shipped turned off. A tiny guard must be removed before setting the time and starting it (so don't worry when you open the box and the second hand isn't moving).
It is a ticking second hand rather than a continuous arc. Other reviewers have commented about the ticking. You can distinctly hear it if you hold the watch up your ear or even nearby when in unusually quiet environments. This hasn't posed a problem.
Having worn it for some time, I've found the band doesn't do a very good job securing the watch on the wrist. This may be due to my mutant-small wrists. Wrestling with the clasp can be a minor annoyance.

It s a light watch with a nylon band which I prefer. It is easy to read and you don't notice that you are wearing it.Published 10 days ago by michael e. greene
