4.0 out of 5 stars great watch
Loved the watch for the price. The only complaint is the
band is not big enough for my boyfriend, but since he is
6'4" he probably has a wrist size larger than normal.
Otherwise, a great gift.

I should have sent it back when I first got it; the band was way too tight and really uncomfortable. I decided to keep it and order another band, but Timex has a limited selection of clasp bands, so I ordered a band of another brand with the same band width. I should have sent it back when I first got it; the band was way too tight and really uncomfortable. I decided to keep it and order another band, but Timex has a limited selection of clasp bands, so I ordered a band of another brand with the same band width. I learned that different brands of bands are not interchangeable. I got it to work by modifying (bending) the attachment of the band to the watch. It looked o.k., but it gets condensation under the lens on hot days. I chalked it up to "lesson learned" and I got a Seiko Railroad Approved watch which I really like.

3.0 out of 5 stars Loved the look but face steamed up, June 25, 2011

I loved the Arial type print of the numbers and the ease of seeing the dial. The expansion band didn't pinch my skin and was large enough to slide on my female arm. Kept the time accurately and just an easy watch to use.

However, the face steamed up after the first day in the Florida heat!! Any time I went from a cool environment into the heat, it became unreadable for a solid 6 hours. It wasn't put in any water--just straight from my jewelry box to my arm, and then the trip from the house to the car caused the steam to occur. Thought it may have been a defect and contemplated exchanging, but other friends experienced the same issue.

Love the look, but can only use in the winter in hot climates.

This watch only lasted one month. The third day I was caught in the rain and it had water condensation on the crystal, so much for water proof for swimming. The third month the Indiglo feature stopped working, by the sixth month it stopped working completely. Sorry to see a respected name brand go bad. I'll miss you Timex. My next watch was made in America, and so will the next one after that, if I ever need one.
