The Timex I purchased is a excellent chronometer and stopwatch that I use while swimming, showering and playing golf. It seems to be very waterproof and shockproof. The time dial is big enough that older citizens can easily read the time, and with Indiglo, even at night. However, the day of the week letters are extremely small and thus present a challenge to read clearly.

The watch band, although a flexible metallic band,is small. Too small, I reckon, for most American males. I had to immediately replace it with a larger one (x-long band, about $12.00).

The finish and quality of workmanship for this watch is substantial. It is reliable and represents excellent value for the low cost of purchase.

This watch is reasonably priced, durable, and it is easy to set the time even without the instructions. The only thing I don't like about it is that it loses about 0.8 sec per day, which means that I have to re-calibrate it about once a week.

I remember wearing this watch when I was a teenager back in the 80's. Loved it back then and love it now. Only difference is, the days of the week on the watch seemed to have gotten smaller, probably due to my sight going away on me due to age? I have forgotten how nice it is to have that indiglo feature. It's also nice that I found a watch with colors that matches with my wedding band. All in all, a great watch and looks fantastic (even when I'm wearing a suit).

I got this for my boyfriend for xmas and it is a very good looking watch. It's been nearly a year now, and it still looks great, still works great, and he misses it if he hasn't worn it for a while... When he first got it, the band pinched his arm hair, but after a while it stopped- I'm not sure why, if it stretched a little, or if the hair just flattened out, or what, but that was the only dubious thing, and that is no longer a concern. All of my experience with Timex has been very good, their watches tend to last a long time- in fact, I've never actually had one break down on me, I've just lost it or something stupid like that. I definitely recommend it!

After I bought this for my boyfriend in solid gold, I bought the two-tone for myself. I wear it everyday, and I absolutely love it. It's obviously quite lose if I let it fall around my wrist, but I like that it is oversized. I can easily push it up my arms when I am washing my hands or doing the dishes and it stays nicely out of the way. The alarm is easy to set and the screen is easy to read. Plus I get compliments on it left and right, which is always nice.

I purchased the Timex Men's T2M993 Two-Tone Classic watch to replace another Chrome only Timex watch just like it. I own two Rolex watches that I stopped wearing because they cost a fortune to have repaired. I started wearing A timex with the multiple functions including alarm, stop watch, and split times when my sons started running track twenty-five years ago. I use it to keep unofficial time of other games, such as soccer, etc. This is the first two-tone version of the watch that I have purchased. It is an attractive and very versatile watch. The cost and delivery time of the watch from Amazon was excellent.

My husband goes through watches like most people do socks. His job causes him to damage and lose them. We have tried more expensive watches and have found they don't last as long as inexpensive one. So we buy him two watches, one for good and one for work. This one has actually lasted longer than most of his watches. Does a respectable job and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. His only complaint is he keeps accidentally hitting the alarm button and it suddenly will go off at the worst times. If he doesn't have a free hand to shut it off, it keeps beeping, which is annoying to him and others.
