I love this watch! I looked for it since before Christmas all over the internet. Got ready to buy it and they sold out...everywhere. So finally I got it, and I love it. Very nice watch at a very good price.

Great Watch. I purchased for first one of this style about 15 years ago and was very happy with its functionality and accuracy. I recently had to retire it due to a failure in the stem that did not allow me to adjust the date although it continued to keep perfect time.

I decided to purchase the same watch again and have been happy with the decision. The cost was almost the same as 15 years ago which makes it a great value. It keeps perfect time, looks great, etc. The only difficulty was having to take out two links in order to resize the band. This was a pain until I learned how to perform the function. The pressure required to illuminate the dial is greater than the original watch which is the only current negative.

This watch is an excellent solution for everyday use. It's inexpensive, reliable, and stylish. The band closes easily and holds well. The Indiglo feature really does work although I suspect it drains the battery rapidly.

One should note that adjusting the band does require punching out pins connecting the links. I found a small (very small) nail useful as a punch. The pins are similar to cotter pins.

I am pleased to use this watch.

My husband will NOT be without the "Day Glo" light so he's on his 3rd watch. One for dress, one for work and one for casual. He loves this watch.

I like it..looks great and its very comfortable. I am a woman and love big watches this is the perfect size

I've owned several of these through the past years and they've held very well. It is a great, every-day watch that looks good and is inexpensive enough to wear while working and not worry about its abuse. If you work at night its indigo light is quite handy while in the dark-- not only to tell time but, in a pinch, to illuminate a small area (like finding the right key on your key chain to unlock a door.) Recommend this model for a good, everyday knock-around watch.

The best feature of Timex watches are 1. the Indiglo night light and 2. the very reasonable price. This watch is accurate as well. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it has a very uninspired pedestrian design. Timex needs to look at Seiko watches to see what a nice looking watch looks like.

I have always had great luck with Timex - but this one took a lickin' and didn't keep tickin'. It looked nice on the picture, but when it arrived it was smaller than I expected. The size seemed in between a mans and a ladies watch. I bought primarily because it is water proof, but when I got into my 5 ft pool, the next day there was plenty of moisture inside. It still ran for about a week then died. I went to a local retailer and tried the 'expedition' instead and although it is waterproof, the clock itself stops quite a bit. I have sworn off Timex watches for the remainder of my living days.

Updated 2-8-11 About 2 months after I received my watch, it started losing time. I sent it to Timex and about2 weeks later I got a replacement or they repaired my original watch. (Hours on hold for service at Timex each time I called)
Well, my watch is starting to show condensation on the inside of the crystal. I wear the watch while showering as I did my previous Timex. I can't believe the crummy design of this watch. I would not recommend it to anyone if you expect it to last very long. I don't know what to do with it. Don't want to send it back to Timex again. Too bad they are made in another country now... the quality is not the same as the old days.

May 8, 2010 I had a 9 year old Timex chronograph that was starting to fail. It was a very faithful watch and I never took it off. I found this one and am so impressed with its looks and the weight. It's very comfortable on my wrist and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great watch with lots of appeal and of course the night light (indiglo) makes it even better. Hope this one lasts as long as the last Timex.
I did look at many other watches, many that were more expensive, in fact almost all were more expensive and narrowed my choice down to a Seiko, Citizen or this Timex. I think i made the correct choice.
