It features a large olive resin watch case that's topped by a olive bi-directional rotating bezel with black elapsed time markings. The brown dial includes large stick markers, arrow-tipped luminous hands (with red seconds hand), and small minute indexes. It also features a digital window at the bottom of the dial, which offers the ability to track three time zones, a 24-hour chronograph (with lap/split option), 24-hour countdown timer, and an alarm. Other features include a comfortable brown nylon Fast Wrap strap (with buckle clasp) and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet).
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

Not much to look at, but serves it's purpose.,

I bought this watch for $25 before my deployment to Iraq. My watch has been subjected to conditions that were far worse than the average wearer would probably experience. Conditions such as extreme heat, fine dust, and complete submersion in different liquids have not even fazed this watch. I have even accidently knocked it against concrete walls and tactical vehicles with it staying fully intact. Being able to set different time zones is a great feature. I always knew what time it was back home. I am really not sure what people expect for $25, anything past the ability to tell time is an added bonus to me. While it won't impress any ladies with its looks, it is a great buy.

Best Adventure Gear Watch for the price,

The features in this watch are exactly what is required if you travel globally like me. The 3 time zones which can be set in this watch is a nice feature. The backlight is adequate and the alarm is loud enough to wake you up. The only reason i didnt give this watch a 5 is beacuse of the strap. Though a nylon strap feels good, its not my preferred choice.
But you can always replace the strap to any material you want afterwards, which i intend to do. Timex watches are always known for their long battery life and this watch doesnt dissapoint. I recommend this watch to anyone who likes adventure gear.

The first Timex Expedition Analog and Digital Combo was defective. The light stopped working almost immediately followed by two of the digital controls. The replacement watch was a little better, but the digital controls, again, only worked a couple of days. Local watch and Jewelry shops could not correct the problem. The instructions for the watch are poor at best. To Amazon's credit their return procedures are excellent and credit and replacement is handled efficiently and quickly.
