I have a small collection of watches accumulated as fashion accessories for the most part. One thing I had been looking for was a basic function, relatively maintenance free watch with striking looks that didn't include a busy face. This does it for me. It's not light but not terribly heavy either, almost Spartan in design, and perfect for a dark casual or sports look. On a side note, I own the beige face version with the brown leather band as well as the silver face version with stainless steel band. For the money, it's hard to beat their design, sturdiness, and looks. Very, very nice.

I am sure it is a quality product since it is a Timex, but I was very disappointed with the appearance of the watch. It looks kind of like a cheap Casio. I exchanged this watch for the brown/chrome model. While that one looks better than the black version, it still does not look as classy in real life as it does on the internet. Also, on both models, the face ring is loose and rattles.

great watch, it actually had date & time already set...all I had to do was strap it on.....I agree with other reviews, it does seem heavy at first--I dont prefer the leather strap----either it is too tight or too loose--- if I get it put on a velcro strap, it will be perfect for me. I like the idea of an old fashioned dial with numbers instead of the digital readout watches.....

I just got this watch a couple of days ago and like it. The perpetual calendar works great as it just switched from April 30 to May 1 without me having to do anything. It came set for eastern time (which is right for me) out of the box. It is a little heavier than my other Expedition watch, but nothing that you don't get used to. My only complaint is the little magnifier over the date on the right side. Instead of making it easier to see the date, you have to be looking directly down into it in order to see the number. The other funny thing is that the indiglo just lights up the inner circle, not the whole face. Otherwise, I think it looks sharp. Perfect for business casual, at least in my opinion.

I had this watch before and it broke. I was so happy to find a replacement. It is just what I wanted and could not find in the store. Great Bargin also.

Nice look works for casual or work. Not too bulky; feels balanced on wrist. Leather band exceeded my expectations. Indigo night light not as bright as other watches but is sufficient. Great value especially with perpetual calendar.

this is my 3rd Expedition, with 2 previous models i was very happy and they served me well 8-10years. When i received this model i was slightly disappointed by the following facts
1) the watch is quite heavy
2) its thick!
3) the band material is in fact not a pure leather but the mix of leather(upper side) and the rubber(inner side)
4) the bezel is covered by kind of the shiny lacquer. I wonder how long that shiny look will last?
What i liked:
1) the stylish look
2) the battery life is 7(!) years
At the end, 50 euros is a very good price for this watch, but counting drawbacks that i mentioned i can give only 3 points of 5 for this product.
