Round watch with branding on band and corrugated bezel;Quartz movement with analog display;Protective mineral dial window;Features day/date window, leather strap, buckle closure, and Indiglo night-light;Water-resistant to 100 m (330 ft)

We feel most alive when we’re furthest from life’s routine. The air seems fresher when we ski unmarked slopes, define our own trail, or escape to our secluded fishing spot. Creating a relationship with nature nourishes like no technology can. Timex® Expedition® watches reflect the secluded terrain that inspires adventure, and are built to endure the depths and elements you subject yourself to.

While it looks like a casual watch, the full-sized Timex Men's T46681 Expedition Easy Set Alarm Brown Leather Strap Watch adds a stylish yet rugged complement to your everyday wear. It features Timex's unique underwater Indiglo® light activation as well as water resistance to 330 feet (100 meters). It has a large, silver stainless steel watch case topped by a large silver unidirectional bezel with black engraved 10-minute markings and coin-edged detailing. It frames an interior dial with 24-hour markings, a cream dial background, full Arabic numerals, large, luminous hands with seconds hand, and a day and date display at 3 o'clock. It a screw-in caseback and crown, an 8-year battery life, and a genuine leather strap in brown with white contrast stitching.

The Indiglo® night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached.

Unable to set the date, and the bezel does not rotate.
    David Quatrochi
It's light, very easy to read and the indiglo is great for checking the time in dark conditions.
    Cubro
Another comment was that it looked a lot like the much more expensive Fossil watches.

Update after five years of regular use:

Like the ads say, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Absolutely zero problems with this watch. Still on it's original battery. Works perfectly, Indiglo, date, day, time, second hand all spot on. I never have to tweak the time setting. It's really an unbelievable value.

Update after two years of regular use:

This watch is amazing. It remains incredibly accurate, rugged, still looks like it's new and the original battery is still going fine. The band has held up well (albeit still a bit blotchy) but all and all for a mechanical watch that costs less that $35 it's incredible. Let me just make one really strong point about its accuracy. I've only had to change the day/date on this a few times for months with 30 days, leap years, etc. I've reset the time a total of 5 times now for going back and forth with daylight savings. Otherwise I've never had to adjust the time. Every once in a while I check the time with my iPhone (and it gets it's clock updated wirelessly) and the time on the watch is ALWAYS precisely spot on. A-maz-ing.

    Original review:

Man the reviews some folks are writing are surprising to me. People want this watch to be ruggedly constructed, keep accurate time, have a moving second hand, display the date and day, provide a very useful indiglo backlight AND then complain that it SUCKS because it doesn't have a rotating bezel?

Please. The watch costs $33. Calm down.

Yes it shouldn't be described as having a rotating bezel but I don't see that in the Product Description (admittedly it maybe that it was included in early descriptions but it wasn't there when I bought mine).

I bought this watch to wear when I'm fishing. It is very easy to read because of it's size, contrasting face and hands. I don't have to put on my glasses to find out how late I am, and it's water resistant in case/when I fall in.

This watch has held up under the harsh conditions of the Maine winter climate. It has few features but is great for minimalists like myself. Can't beat the watch, better than any other comparably priced watch I have ever owned!

This is a great watch with many features I desired in a watch.
    - Tells time (naturally) with a sweep second
    - Has elapsed time bezel
    - Has 24 hour markings
    - Has Day & Date display
    - Has night light
    - Has glow in the dark hands
    - Is water resistant
    - Is accurate
    And it is nice looking.
The only con I can think of is the fact that the rotating bezel tends to rattle sometimes but it's no big deal.

Generally this is a nice watch for everyday use and traveling. I really like the indiglo feature for use in the dark. In general the only complaint is not being able to adjust the date without circling for 24 hours howrs. some of the Timex expeditions have this feature but not this model. This is a typical Timex product, lasts for a long time, perfectly functional, and doesnt look cheap.

Watch is fine, a little heavy. My disappointment is that the bezel does not move...kind of useless, as I like to use the bezel for timing things at work.

The title says it all: No moveable bezel, despite product description. I was looking to replace the same watch purchased over 5 years ago. The div'er's bezel was movable, not merely ornamental and was a great convenience. The product description clearly said "movable bezel" or I'd not have ordered. Nearly sent it back, but not worth the hassle and will work until I find something else or I may be able to transfer the works to the old case, which still looks good.
