5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy for a rugged watch.
I saw this watch for $79+ [Mervyn's], $69+ [Target] and got it for $56+ on eBay. I wear it working out, working in the yard, in the shower daily and in the pool---all with no problems.

2.0 out of 5 stars Timex has a quality control problem
I bought this watch several months ago from Amazon, and several weeks later noticed the rotating bezel had some play in it, and did not fit snugly to the watch case. I consider this a factory machining problem, and predict that any version of this watch with a loose bezel will leak if submerged.
I don't submerge mine, so there are no problems to report, but Timex,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Timex has a quality control problem, February 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Timex Men's T49614 Expedition Dive Style Watch (Watch)
I bought this watch several months ago from Amazon, and several weeks later noticed the rotating bezel had some play in it, and did not fit snugly to the watch case. I consider this a factory machining problem, and predict that any version of this watch with a loose bezel will leak if submerged.
I don't submerge mine, so there are no problems to report, but Timex, if they want to keep their reputation of quality, needs to review this product and others with similar faults.
As is, it is pretty much a desert, not a diving, watch.

(REAL NAME)
I do not recomend that anyone purchase this watch!!! Although I was pleased with the look and style after I received it, I must say that I would call it a piece of "JUNK". I wore it in my pool for about 15 minutes shortly after taking it out of it's shipping box then I wore it to work for about 12 hours that night and low and behold I got home and my brand new $170.00 water-resistant up to 200 meters (666 feet)watch had fog and water droplets on the inside of the crystal. It had leaked and thus I am retuning it to the selling company. You would think that a supposed water-resistant watch would last longer than one quick swim and one trip to work!!! Needless to say I am very disapointed and will NEVER buy a Timex product again. Remember the old saying "You Get What You Pay For", I should have paid attention and am now warning all future potential buyers of this product, "DON'T BUY IT!!!"
