I have half -dozen watches and this Timex is my favorite everyday watch. I write this review after three years of use. This watch has taken a beating and has never stops... The night light is great. The face is easy to read and, for travelers, if you go through airport security it does not set alarms off. BEST is that it is truly is water resistant.... actually, it is water proof. I forgot to take it off while scuba diving last month and I went deep (160') on a wreck dive... I came back up and my Timex was in perfect condition ... tic tic tic. I love the watch. Highly recommended.

The watch itself is fine, and perfect if you're looking for a no-nonsense watch that you can take anywhere without worrying.

As another reviewer pointed out, the wrist band is short. I have to let it all the way out, and my wrists aren't unusually thick. This means that rather than looking at a green canvas wristband as I expected, all you can see is the black velcro attached to the band.

I had to adjust the band as large as it would go. It is still snug on my wrist. I'm not particularly big or stout, either.

my husband is an auto body technician (he paints cars!)... he had wanted a watch he could wear to work in... i like timex for their quality and price... i found this watch on-line after doing a bit of research at different sites and thought the camper watch would serve the purpose: we wanted something durable, that could withstand being wet, be lite-weight, and i loved the velcro band... and i didn't wanted something cheap off the display table, so the price was in the range that i was comfortable with... SO FAR SO GOOD! and i trust shopping thru amazon... everything about the transaction was smooth and financially acceptable as ever!

I am always pleased with the timex expedition series. They last forever. I was expecting this watch to be more gray. When I got it, the watch is more of a green color. I am still happy with the watch I was just expecting it to be gray not green. The watch also came with the stopper on the dial switch; meaning it was not started. Always a plus when the stopper is still intact on watches to avoid battery loss.

The quality of the watch itself is great, however the wrist band is very small. I'm a man with pretty normal sized wrists and it barely wraps around them. You basically see velcro for the entire band.

Nice watch, when it works. Probably a bad sample. I will return in exchange for another, same, watch. The Indiglo light kept coming on and staying on. Seemed like the push button had a loose or bad connection. I suspect this drained the battery.

This is a very good looking, sturdy watch. It is pretty accurate, lightweight and its Indiglo is very nice. It has numbers 13 to 24, which makes it easy to follow 24 hour format without having to make mental arithmetic.

Unfortunately, when I wore it on the first day, I got itchy rashes all over the skin on my wrist. Looks like I am allergic to the strap material. I had to stop wearing it. I have another black-and-white variant of this watch (Timex Men's T49713 Camper Watch); but I have no problems with that one! I like the watch so much, I am considering replacing the strap with a leather one.
