The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

Packed with features, this MEGA-COMFORTABLE watch delivers!,

This review is from: Timex Ironman T53351 Triathlon 30-Lap Traditional Fullsize Watch (Watch)
This...is a GREAT watch. It has been my happy companion for almost 4 years of: hiking, swimming, diving, mtn. biking, kayaking and almost any other activity. It is soooo comfortable that I often forget to take it off when I hit the bed. The IndiGlo feature is super-bright and is very handy when caving (or trapped in a subway, as well as underwater (hot tub, pool, river, ocean).
The alarm features are great to help me drag my tired self up in the A.M., with IndiGlo flashing in sync to the alarm. It even features a SNOOZE button for the alarm when hitting the Start/Split bar instead of another. Did I mention that you can hear the alarm underwater, even with your head wrapped in neoprene at less than 50 Degrees Farhrenheit? Yep. I use the countdown feature for timing meals when cooking and entertaining, and the 'splits' feature helps to time any course competition for specific times on each leg. The Neoprene/Velco band is the main reason to buy this watch over any other Timex. Easily adjustable at any time, especially when your wrist swells during activity (hiking, mtn. biking, etc.), this is the main reason I highly recommend this watch over others with identical features. It's also my main complaint for support from Timex. I could NOT...find ANY SUPPORT for the watch band from Timex. Finally, I decided to buy another watch (more?) for a very low price on Amazon. Ultimately (after 4 years) the Velcro flayed and the watch began to come apart. But the main body is still working! I guess someone at Goodwill is going to get a half-decent surprise when I drop this watch off later today. CAUTION - be careful about spraying your arm with insect repellant if the watch is on. The chemicals will permanently alter the face of the watch (plastic), but it will still continue to function. I would rate this watch 4/5, only because it ultimately fell apart and wasn't supported for broken bits. It's my favorite watch for almost all activities, except an evening out, when a dressier watch is called for. And No, I don't work for TIMEX. I just want to Spread the Love. ***Buy this watch - you won't be sorry.***

Excellent Watch,

The indigo feature is great but illuminates the background (not the numbers as in many other newer TIMEX watches). The timer is easy to set and is great for any type of reminder, flashing the indiglo and beeping at the same time. The watch can also be easily changed between two different time zones and toggling between them easily by holding the front start/split button.
The watch band is a beautiful deep blue contrasting very well with the orange outlining and black velcro. One slight annoyance is that it takes two seconds when cycling through modes for that mode to become active. (Ex: When pushing the mode button, the word "CHRONO" appears for two seconds before the numbers are displayed). Overall, an excellent watch, definitely worth the price.

This watch has done exactly what I wanted it for, training. I started to swim a lot, and wanted to start keeping track of my times as I get more serious. 50M resistance is not really for underwater use or to be submerged and this must be the best watch at the lowest price point for 100M resistance. It is ultra comfortable, has a big, readable display and is very light. Also, the buttons are big and easily accessible, which is a big plus if you are active with it. The strap also has not come off yet, even with my hand going in and out of the water so many times.
I have consistently been swimming with the watch for about 4 months now and press the buttons underwater all the time, which the instructions say you're not supposed to do. Some days, I take it into the jacuzzi and it is submerged for the better part of the 15 min I spend in there. After, I have taken it into the sauna for another 15 min. There is not a thing wrong with the watch yet. Well built. Great value for $[...] bucks. You can't go wrong with this watch.
