Rock your body during extreme workouts with the Timex T53771 Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport digital watch, which features shock resistance to ISO standards--enabling it to withstand breakage under adverse conditions. It features a metallic gray body with black resin top ring insert and a top pusher for easy access to lap and split times. Sport timing features include a 100-hour chronograph with lap or split option, 30-lap memory recall, 99-lap counter, and 24-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat functions. Other features include a daily/weekday/weekend alarm with 5-minute backup, built-in setting reminder, a black polyurethane strap, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet).

The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

I was looking for a rugged watch to go everywhere I go and keep me on time. My Timex Ironman can go anywhere my body can go and keeps great time. It is -10 seconds per month which is better than the Casios. It is shock and water resistant just like the Casios. Unlike the Casio, it doesn't beep every time I push a button which could be bad in a tactical situation. It helps me meet my run times by keeping track of my lap times. It helps me train for my timed push-ups and sit-ups by beeping at set intervals. If you're looking for high performance without a high price this is your watch.

This is an excellent sport watch for the money. I got it for Christmas and was very pleased with the features, durability, low profile, and light weight. The strap is some kind of composite material and has a strap retainer feature. While quite comfortable, the strap has a habit of coming out of the strap retainer. Mine did frequently until it apparently fell off of my wrist while skiing on President's Day weekend. I'm still considering repurchasing this watch as a replacement.

I have this watch for 3 month now, and used it a lot in outdoor sports. The functions are simple and great, especially the lap timer, and 30 laps are more than enough! It approved itself in cross-country running, cycling as well as skiing, and I am sure its water resistancy is also great. The display is perfectly readably from every possible view angle, with and without light. The menues and fuctions are easy to use and self-explaining.
This watch is relatively small and therefore does not disturb while exercising.
After all this watch is great for outdoor people and athletes who only need basic function (eg. no heart frequency) for an amazingly low price. I like this watch better than several Casio's that I owned before.
