I bought this watch because I wanted a velcro band (cheap resin bands seem to degrade quicker from sweat and ozone) and no exposed buttons to snag. This is my second one after the first was eaten by my dog.

I've worn it biking in 110 degree weather and snorkeled with it down to 20 feet. The strap has held up, it never leaks and the alarm is audible while swimming underwater. The curvature of the watch back is a well-intentioned piece of ergonomics that doesn't quite succeed. It's fixed easily with a tightening of the strap.

I'd buy it again.

By the way, the one the dog ate lost the strap and part of the case ...but it's still ticking. Go Timex!

If you work out or just need a second watch to beat around in, then this is the one for you. I also owned its predecessor, which was also a great watch but a bit larger. This one is sleeker without giving up features. I like the velcro band. The band is changeable, which is a plus after a couple years of use. You can't go wrong with this watch at this price.

This thing started falling apart after 6 months. It kept getting worse and 13 months after I bought it, the strap holder broke. It had been taken very good care of and shouldn't have fallen apart so soon. The warranty people have been helpful though.

.......altho a nice looking watch, it is quite curved so fit strangely on my wrist. Also, when trying to set the functions, the numbers went backward rather than forward, a new experience. I'm returning it using the smooth Amazon procedures. I've already purchased a different model of Timex sport watch which is working fine.
