Nothing fancy, it tells time, it's water resistant, has an alarm, a timer and a countdown timer. I'm an electrician so I look for something that is durable and has few metal parts. This watch fits the bill just fine.

I've had them before, I can get a couple of years out of it before the face is too scratched up to read it anymore. Then I get a new one.

Timex Atlantis 100 is simply the most accurate,durable, lightweight, feature packed watch you can ever purchase. It is of great value, and the polyurethane strap is waterproof & durable. This strap is more durable & comfortable than the stainless steel version that is also sold for the same watch. When you wear the watch you can hardly feel it is on your wrist, it is thin not bulky. This watch has a large glowing indiglo green display, a night light, chrono(forwards time keeping), timer (backwards timekeeping),2 time zones, alarm for each time zone, hourly chimer and waterproof to 100 Meters.

If all you want is a basic watch, without too many bells and whistles, this works. It sits pretty flat on your wrist and the side buttons are not so small that you can't manage them. The front will scratch, but that's the tradeoff for plastic vs glass.

Purchased this watch hoping for something comfortable/durable to wear to the golf course. With ten rounds under my belt so far the watch has performed as I hoped. Very light weight and comfortable. Easy to clean sunscreen off the watch after the round. Very satisfied.

Just got it and am looking forward to wearing it for various years. The last one I bought lasted 10 years with only one battery replacement and band replacement. Easy to read. Great price. What else can you ask for in a watch?

This is my second purchase of this watch style. And as previously reported by me and others, within 2 weeks of actively wearing it, I brushed against a door, and knew immediately that the watch crystal was scratched. Not a bad scratch, but a wakeup call to be more careful. It is a shame that these watch faces scratch so easily, because this watch is a great performer. I am going to attempt to replace the battery in my 6 year old Atlantis and wear it at work. Save the latest Atlantis purchase for wear at other times. I may also switch watch bands too, since my older Atlantis has the metal band which still looks good.

The watch works great so far. I have owned several ironman watches before this one, and when the specs said "99 lap counter" I mistakenly thought it meant 99 lap RECALL. It only counts them, and you get the total et. Otherwise it is fine.

There are a number of good to great things about this watch: Very
accurate, light weight but sturdy, comfortable to wear, easy to read
display.

So why not a five?

If this watch had a recessed crystal which was scratch resistant,
it would rate a five.

Given that I wear the watch for sport/work, a couple of scratches
is not a deal breaker, but it does bug me a little bit.

I would have preferred to pay a little more, and got a product better
designed to resist damage.

Excellent wrist watch for the money. Large text, Indiglo useful at night, More modes that I need... 2nd time mode useful for travel and 5 years on the battery. I would recommend this watch to everyone. 5 Star !

This is my 4th or 5th time I've bought this model over last decade or so. The last two recently - quality wise has not been as good as before, so I have to give it a 2 stars from what was a 5 star.

If it keeps resetting date/time by itself, I'll start looking for another manufacturer/model.
