This is a great watch for kids. We bought this for our 5 yr. old to teach him how to tell time. The band is nice and stretchy and adjusts for every child's wrist size. The watch itself is very small in size and perfect for young children. This is smaller than a woman's size watch. The watch is very simple but the different colored hands and the minutes listed above the numbers make these very easy to teach kids how to tell time. I highly recommend this watch for young children.

This watch was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old grandson who is just learning to tell time.
The price was very good and it will last until he outgrows it.

In the words of my 6 year old, "I think you said it was waterproof but it wasn't. The light is not working because water got in it and made it so the dial (helicopter-second hand, and the other hands) would not work. This started after about one month after I got it for my birthday. The wrist band was great! The same thing happened to my sisters watch -the flowered one."

Bought nine of these watches at Christmas (no two alike) for all my grandkids from the age of five to ten. They all loved them and from previous purchases I know that they will last until they are too small. The elastic watchbands are perfect for kids that age so they don't get lost!

The watch is awesome. the band already has a few snags in it. I will probably have to replace. But the watch it self is great.

Son, cheap can mean either a low price for a decent product, or a crappy product for the price you paid. In this case, I thought I was getting the former, but got the latter.

At first blush, the watch is easy to read for a beginner, has a very adjustable band, that cool indiglo feature and was $15 and it had a warranty!

Well, you see that you need to pay $7 if the thing fails, and dig up the receipt, and package and mail it back, etc. Well they do fail. We've had 4 of these watches between my 2 kids. It is just a matter of time before it stops working. A very short matter of time. The longest one of these lasted was maybe 3 months. Very very disappointing to have to keep replacing them.

I have learned my lesson, and will get a kids watch that is simply built better. I have searched extensively and it appears that the Freestyle Kids' FS84962 The Rage Round Easy Read Watch is built well. I will give that a shot for a little more than twice the price of this Timex, if I get 6+ months out of it, it will be a better deal than buying a CHEAP Timex.

The stretchy band is my favorite feature. The boy loves it, especially the "cheat ring" around the perimeter that tells him the actual minutes; it was a good compromise for a little boy that preferred a digital watch.

My boy of 7 really got into military toys, I being a former Marine. He loves this watch. It's the only watch he actually looks for when its not on his wrist. The helicopter second hand is really cool and none of the kids at school had a watch like this one. He's had it for a year now and its still going strong. We like the band because when it gets wet it dries easily. Great product, I recommend strongly.

I bought this watch for my friend's son who was turning six. He was really excited to see the camo colors and the little helicopter inside the face. His mom called me a few days later to say that it was his favorite birthday present and that he wears it every day. Amazon was great too -- I ordered and received the watch in just a couple of days!

I ordered this adorable watch for my sons birthday. When it arrived, it was really cute, however it was completely broken. I thought it may have been that battery so I took it to the jewelry store to have the battery replaced. However, the jeweler said it was not the battery and that the watches parts were just broken. So, I ordered another one. I thought it was just a fluke. I received the second watch and it was also not working. I returned it, very disappointed. Obviously, there is some kind of defect with the watch. Two strikes and I am out!
