I'm 19 years old and have had this watch for about a year now. I LOVE IT. I got it because I have a very small wrist and can't fit into most adult watches. It doesn't look incredibly childish, and if you prefer, you could always try to change the wristbands. It lights up in the dark too, which is handy at times. The second hand is great for me as well because I need it for nursing school. I highly recommend it :) It's also cheap hehe

The watch works well, the band is durable, and it looks good. My 7 year-old daughter loved it! Unfortunately, she lost it after a week. I sent for the $10 replacement that Timex offers on their kids' watches and they mailed an identical watch within three weeks with no charge for shipping. Good old Timex; gotta love 'em.

My daughter is 10 and this is a great watch for her. She loves the color and light up feature. I love the classic look of it and that it has worked perfectly. I bought this one for one daughter and the one in blue for my 11 year old, last Christmas. They wear them nonstop.

The watch was cute, however the band broke within 2 days. The band itself was sturdy but where the pin connects the strap to the watch itself, it is paper thin and for a child, it tore easily. I had to find a replacement strap...that did not match as well in order to fnd a child's size band. As far as the watch, being that it is a Timex I am sure we will have no problem there....the band was the issue.

My 5yo and 6yo daughters asked for a "real watch" after they each received an analog watch for Christmas last year, neither of which kept the correct time. We purchased this watch (and the one in light blue) after reading the reviews and our own experience with the Timex brand. This watch has more than exceeded their (and our) expectations. The soft-buttery leather strap fits nicely around their wrists - it is not too big (they can wear it on the tightest fitting). The watch face is large enough for them to read the time, altho' as young girls it doesn't appear to be too big in proportion to their body. As well, second-hand has helped them learn more about time. The Indiglo Light is a bonus for fun, altho' now they insist on wearing their watches to bed (even tho' they each have a digital alarm clock). As well, the water-resistant feature is a plus because they still like to get messy and clean up on their own. This is a great watch at an excellent price that I expect they will own for some time and will grow with each of them into their 'tween years.

This watch is perfect for a first watch. The glow light for the dark is a great feature. Numbers are easy to read. Leather band is really nice and stitched well. Plenty of room to expand.

I am 24 and was having a hard time finding an woman's watch that did not have a cartoon character on it, a bunch of jewels, or a huge watch face. This is a great simple watch. The watch is 8 inches/20 centimeters long (not including the buckle) so it isn't too small for many adult wrists. The backlight is a great feature as well.

Purchased for little girl just turning 6. She loved it and wears it all the time. She is just learning to tell time and we wanted to buy her a watch which would help her with this, not just a digital watch. The watch is "tough" and keeps up with her during all her activities and school. I would recommend this Timex for its quality and easy readability of the dial for children.

This watch was purchased for my 8 year old daughter. It has served her well. I would rate it at five stars but as other people mentioned, the strap tends to come off. This has not been a major problem with our daughter, it has come off about 3 times in 3 months and I have been able to pop it back in.

I have watches of my own that perform very well but were purchased at a much higher price. At the price this was purchased, it is performing as just below expectations as noted with my three star rating.

Although this was a great first watch for my daughter, the watch band broke after only a few months of use and a replacement band was almost the same price as the watch itself!
