I bought this item for myself, as I wanted a comfortable, cheap watch for summertime outdoor activities. I didn't want one that shows the date, as I didn't want to be bothered changing it.

The elastic band is actually quite comfortable on an adult wrist, and I like the fact that it has no pins which can pop out and become lost at inopportune moments. I had actually looked for a long time for a cheap watch with that feature.

The watch actually looks enough like a real military watch that an adult isn't embarrased wearing it. I have had it for a couple of months, and so far it has kept excellent time. I don't expect it to last forever, but at the price I paid for it I won't mind much when I have to replace it.

This is a great watch for a kid around 10 yrs old. It's not so large that it looks like a dinner plate strapped to your kids wrist and it has a more grown-up design than most other watches for kids (No Mickey Mousey flowery rainbow crap designs on this watch). It's durable and relatively impervious to moisture.. And.. Indiglo just rocks. One minor downer is the band.. I'm sorry, but it just looks like poop stained elastic (so I got my son a nice cloth/sport style band).

This is ok for the price paid. It does not stay tight with having just the slide adjuster. The metal slide adjuster also sticks out farther than I would like - almost 1/2" off my wrist. Also, the color is a much redder brown than shown - both the dial and the band. The indiglo is nice and the face is easy to read. It is light-weight and easy to slide on and off. But, it does get dirty easily. It is a nice concept, but needs some work.

I bought this watch for my son's 10th birthday, which was two weeks ago. He loves the watch: it's easy to read, easy to slip on and off, comfortable to wear. He feels very grown up when he wears it. Unfortunately, the battery is already dead, after less than two weeks. I don't understand that, but I guess we'll be buying a watch battery soon. At least the battery type is stamped on the back of the watch!
