For Weekender replacement straps, Timex is the way to go. They don't have weird extra buckles as the generic NATO straps do and they're easy to get on/off. Make sure you size up the width properly or you could wind up with a strap that's too thin/thick. As an fyi, Target has a great selection of these straps (different from the selection on amazon). After buying about six different styles from both amazon and Target, you'll find that some are longer than others and could need to be trimmed down depending on the size of your wrist.

Unfortunately, it frayed at the holes. There are little threads all over the watch band and I will have to return it.

The strap matches the watch just fine but after several wearings, the fabric edges around the holes started to fray which will then grab bits of fabric from whatever long sleeved clothing you might be wearing.

The process of buying and shipment was great Amazon is wonderful. But the quality of the band was poor the metal is good but the nylon is unraveling after only one day of use. Especially on the holes made for adjustments. So Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking but the band doesn’t.

This band ( T 7B907 ) which I ordered and received is actually 10 inches long !! Not the 8 inches as listed in the product details. Beware before ordering.

It's longer than the one that came with my Weekender watch. (Same width: 20mm.) It's too long. It looks stupid on my wrist. Which is really unfortunate because I really liked the look of my original one.

I know you can loop it back but I don't really like the look of that. I could try to trim it down, but even if it worked out cleanly, there would then be holes extending to the end of the strap, which would look stupid.

Timex should make two or three lengths. How hard would that be. I'd pay an extra few bucks.

Happy ending though: I think I found the old length on ebay. I guess I'll have to buy like 5 of them if possible.

Frays often and the texture is slightly different then the original strap that is included with the watch. Lighting nylon with a lighter to harden frays is a decent solution to my only qualm.

This strap works how you'd expect it to. It's secure, fast enough, easy enough. The one negative is I got plenty of white fabric fraying on the edges. Not a huge deal as there wasn't a ton of it and it's easy to clean off, but a slight bummer because white shows up so easily on black. Still, good strap for my Weekender, and I'm happy.

Bought the black band because my white one was getting so dirty. I can alternate the bands whenever I want but for everyday use I will be using the blank band.
