I love this watch. The fact that I can easily change the band to one of a different color or pattern, or change to a different style of band, makes this watch very customizable to your mood or what you are wearing for the day. I will say that this watch IS a unisex watch as the face is a bit larger than most women's watches have. I took some measurements of the watch that I felt were missing in the description.

The crystal, or glass, and face is 1 1/4 inches across.
The body of the watch, not including the crown (the knob/button you spin to set time and press to activate the indiglo night-light) is 1 1/2 inches across.
The band itself, which I found to be pretty true to color, a merlot/burgundy, is 10 1/2 inches long from the inner lip of the buckle clasp to the end and 3/4 inch wide.

The indiglo night-light turns on when the button, or crown, is pressed, and goes off when the button is released. The light is a pale blueish-geen.

Yes, there is a ticking sound but I don't find it to be any louder than any of the other watches that I own.

The second hand, which looks matte gray in the photo, is a shiny silver in person. It matches the body of the watch.

If you decide to shower while wearing this watch or it happens to get wet, the band IS fabric and may take a little while to dry.

This watch has a stainless steel back and when its time to replace the battery, requires a CR2016 cell or button battery.

I hope that this review helps anyone interested in this watch.

The nylon watch band is very very long for both me (woman's large) and my husband (bigger wrist). The leftover length flaps in the wind. I will try a woman's weekender, but those colors are to "cutsey."

Unless you have a large wrist for a women you will have a lot of the strap just loose. Not comfortable at all to wear.

It has no alarm or anything fancy, but it's a good, solid, usable watch that has a night-light. There's a very slight problem that the band tends to gradually curl outward, so when I shower I curl it up temporarily. It's handy that it has two metal loops to thread the band through.

Really love this watch. Only issue is that the strap is way too long. I do have an average size woman's wrist and I have to fold it over so that it doesn't flop around. Seems sturdy which is what I need for every day use plus it looks good too,

This watch was so huge for my wrist (yes, it is a small wrist) that the face covered the whole top of my wrist. There were plenty of holes to tighten the band, but because the face was so ginormous I couldn't tighten the band past a certain hole. Also, the band doesn't look at all red, even though the photo depicts a definite red color. It was a burgundy wine color. Love Timex and the Indi-glo feature, but this watch could take the place of a billboard.

This watch is the perfect timepiece for any casual occasion. I like the neutral face and arm colors (white, black and silver) since I tend to change out the straps on my watch fairly often. The only complaint I would have is that he band itself is a bit long for someone like myself who likes to wear their watch tight and has a fairly small wrist. With some simple adjusting its not a problem. For the price, it is tough to beat.

You can press the crown to make the face light up.
