This is a nice watch. Has all the features that I need. HOWEVER..... the color on the face definitely fades over time so you have a monochromatic grey rather than the light blue. ALSO the watch band falls apart long before the watch does. At present I have the watch band held together with electrical tape and staples. I am sure timex figures that most folks will just buy a new watch- but I am cheap and stubborn. I must admit that I have not contacted timex to inquire about a new watch band but off hand it does not appear to be easily replaced. If the watch band lasted as long as the watch I would be thrilled.

Just what I was looking for, simple yet functional. Band has a little lip that helps prevent strap from coming undone which makes in impossible to lose. Comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. It has helped me with my training a lot.

I bought this watch to help me train for my first half-marathon. Has all the standard features we're used to with digital watches, time, date, chrono w/split times, etc. You can also program occasions like birthdays, meetings, and anniversaries so you don't forget to stop and buy flowers during your run. The feature I use the most on this watch is the countdown timer. BEWARE!! I'm about 5'10" and 160lbs and have small wrists which prompted me to go for the unisex model; however, the watch case is more a ladies or teen size. I only wear it for running so it doesn't bother me too much, but my buddies would have a good time of it if I wore this out to the bar.

I'm 42 and haven't worn a watch in a very long time. This was purchased specifically for it's timer/interval timer function which I use for timing meditation/Reiki treatments. I have the timer pre-set for 20 minutes to meditate, then once the alarm goes off, I switch over to the Interval Timer which is set up (both intervals) for 2 minutes so it simply chimes every 2 minutes until I turn it off. I think the alarm/timer chime is delicate enough to be used for meditation (Compared to other products like kitchen timers.) and so it is serving my intended purpose quite nicely.

As a watch? Eh. I think it's bulky and uncomfortable to wear on my wrist. As an alarm clock, the alarm isn't very loud or aggressive (which is why I like to use it for meditation) but when I've slept with the watch on my wrist and my arm is under the pillow, I don't hear the alarm.

I bought this watch based on a previous review that said it comes with interval timers. It doesn't. It does have a timer that you can set so it repeats once it reaches zero. I wanted a watch that you can set to time run/walk intervals - on those you set interval 1 and interval 2 and you can set it so it repeats the intervals until you stop it.

This watch does have the chrono feature (but I think pretty much all sports watch have that), the timer, 3 alarms and something called "occasion." Looks nice, as pictured.

If you're a runner and you're just interested in your split times, this will work. If you do the run/walk thing, or you want to do timed sprints with a timed recovery in between w/o constantly checking your watch, this isn't the watch you want.

The only two downside to this watch:
1. If your wrist is relatively larger, you might want to get the full size watch (vs this mid-size/unisex watch)
2. The strap on this watch can be made stronger or thicker (if not careful when taking the watch off and yanked the strap, it will break)

I used this watch during swimming, and after a few months it started to fail. First the light went off, then the whole display was off. I had it for two years before I used it for swim training, and worked great for running laps.

I bought this watch just to keep track and I say the band fits me perfect the color I love and best of all it was easy to set up. I am very proud of timex before and now I am impressed with how their watchs come out. So if you dont like big wrist bands this one good for you hey its not medium its a small band so it fits comfortably and I show this to my friends and they went crazy over it. I would recomend this watch to anyone great color again style and how it fits

I purchased this for my wife to wear while we work out or run. She seems to like it and wears it often even when we are not in the gym. The only down side at all is the size. She has a small wrist and she has to tighten the watch all the way to the last hole to get it to fit right. Just for comparison I actually wore it during a half marathon and it fit me fine. I used the lap times for miles to keep my pace with it and had no trouble even after just having been given it in the morning.

I really like the watch. Good seller. Arrived timely manner. The color of the band was a little more purple that I thought from the picture. I still like it and would certainly recommend this seller.
