Customer Reviews

I gave him this alarm clock for Christmas and he loves it.
Melissa A. Moore
Even though the voices can get annoying sometimes, it definitely helped me wake up for classes in the morning.
Kiet Nguyen
The funny voices make us smile each morning, and that it shakes make even more noise to wake them.

I read the other reviews and can't believe people don't find this clock funny!
I mean, why did they buy it in the first place?? My purchase was from Target where I had a chance to "try it out" and had to buy it.

Basic alarm clock, no radio, just set clock and set alarm with a snooze button.

Latin/Mexican accent
Mira you got to get up! Drop the pee-low! Just do what I say and drop the pee-low! Drop the pee-low!

Italian "guido" accent
My uncle antony used to sleep late, you know that? alarm goes off... Badabing! snooze! alarm goes off... Badaboom! snooze! you know what we call uncle antony now? the late uncle anty

Indian accent
Oh my goodness, it's time to wake up you sleeping person. Yes you! You! That's right! Get out of bed. You must not hit that sleep button. There is no more time for snoozing. Up Up Up

Anglo "cheerfull" like richard simmons! lol
Hello sleepy head! Rise and Shine! Good Morning! Up up up up up up up! Good morning Sunshine!

Godfather accent
Bonjourno bambino! Why you treat me with no respect? You can get out of that bed or I can come in and get you out of that bed. Capiche?! Now... Where's my cannoli?

Accent spoof on Cochran (seems like)
Your honor, like I always say. If the alarm don't quit up you must get. My client can not be expected to wake up in these circumstances. They are deplorable, unexusable, undependable, unreliable and unquentisential

Hillbilly accent
Well I tell you what. You hit that there snooze button one more time I'm gonna have to open up a six pack of whoop *bleep*. And you know I'm gonna do it too.. Don't you?

This was a (late) birthday gift from a friend of mine in high school. I have always adjusted to all alarms within two weeks, resulting in me sleeping through the alarm and getting massive headaches when I do wake up. Not so with this clock. It's obnoxious, it's childish, and it's the single greatest thing anyone's ever purchased for me. I took it to college this year, knowing that otherwise I'd never make my early classes. The changing voices mean my brain never suspects which one will go off, and talking is supremely difficult for me to sleep through. This crazy wacky clock has reliably gotten my behind out of bed for two years now, and I couldn't be happier with it.

I will shamelessly use this until it dies. And then I will buy another one.

Seriously, I bought this as a joke but it is now my favorite alarm clock. It runs on batteries, but it runs forever. You seldom have to change them. It shakes, it wakes you up with funny voices, you can put it anywhere (like across the room) so that you have to get out of bed to turn it off. If you can get out of bed, you aren't likely to fall back asleep. I am planning to get some for friends.

Don't get rid of this right off the bat because you find the wake up calls annoying. After a few months, you realize it's truly well designed. It has four buttons, and one is a (WOO-HOO) rewind so if you go a moments over the desired time, you can just go back. (This is a feature I have dreamed of! Best part of the whole thing.) If you have it on demo and press the snooze button, it gives you an example of what it's like every morning to show your friends. When it's not on demo, and you press the snooze button, it lights up for 31 seconds (don't judge me, I counted) I have dropped this MILLIONS of times onto hardwood floor and it hasn't gotten a single scratch. (Actually, it did get one across the screen when we moved cross-country. Not my fault though.) I love this thing, and it has served me faithfully for about a year and a month now. If it broke, I would buy an identical one. One last message:
YOU ROCK TIMEX WACKY WAKE UP! DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY!

(By the way, I had two much longer reviews before this one but Amazon kept deleting them when I was almost done, bringing me back to the sign in page. So type yours on Word and then copy & paste it into the review page.)

I almost didn't buy this because many people wrote reviews about this being more of a gag gift than an alarm clock. This is so not the case!! I am a deep sleeper. So deep in fact that I sometimes turn my regular alarm off in my sleep or I have even slept right through it. This tiny alarm clock has saved my butt so many times. I have it across the room so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. Nothing like a strange man's voice yelling at you to get up in the morning. This is so not a gag gift, it has been the only thing to get me out of bed. I have thought about getting those helicoptor alarms so you have to chase it around the room but I know how I am in the morning. I would probably either smash it or unplug it. You can't unplug this one as it runs on batteries. I am still waiting for the day that the batteries go dead and I oversleep. So far after 2.5 months the batteries are still doing good. I would def recomend this alarm for any deep sleepers. I have not overslept for work 1 time since i got this. Great!

I got this alarm clock for my daughter, but she got another one and I began using this one. It's interestingly less jarring than typical alarms and a somewhat amusing way to awaken. The vibration is significant enough that is moves the clock slightly and makes a distinct noise, but not so large as to move other items in the area. It rotates to a different saying / voice every time you hit the snooze button. However, if you do not turn it off or hit the snooze button it just repeats the same phrase over and over and over again. I would have preferred that it rotate through the various sayings as this point also. Overall, a very good alarm clock.
