Bought it for my wife and she absolutely loves it!

It's easy to to read the numbers and the red second hand is easy to see even in low light.

The white coating (paint I assume) is chipping off the leather upper band.

I don't wear watches much except to work, and as a nurse I use it lots. When the date on my last watch broke I was forced to find a new one. I searched all over for a watch with a small face, white band, and date. I love the look of this watch and the ability to light up the face, and it shipped very quickly. When I got it, I noticed that it said "genuine leather upper" on the band. I'm no watch expert but I think that means that only the upper part of the band is actually leather, so I was a little worried about it lasting as long as my last watch (which said "genuine leather"), but the price was great so I figured it would be ok.
What I like is that it is easy to set, easy to read and nice looking. What I don't like is that the face is a little deep, and the wrist strap is extremely long. I have small wrists and the extra strap goes all the way around and almost touches the face on the other side.
Since I have been wearing it, I have noticed that the sliding part that is supposed to keep the extra band down is already seeming to stretch out and doesn't really stay put. Also, if I work 3 or 4 days in a row my wrist gets a little red and itchy. Since most of my problems are with the band I am considering getting a new one, but so far it has not bothered me enough for me to actually go through with it.

I bought this watch because I thought I lost my expensive Croton watch and needed a quick cheap replacement since I work as an RN and needed it for work. WEll, I love this watch since I have a small wrist and it fits well, and has the Indiglo feature which is helpful since I work nightshift. It is affordable and accurate and it works well for me especially with the super saver shipping.

First, I want to say this watch DOES NOT HAVE A SWEEPING SECOND HAND. It has a regular ticking second hand. I bought it after reading some reviews on here saying it did, but that was my mistake. Now, that being said, I do love the watch. Very cute. Lol, even my15 fashionista daughter loves it! I start nursing school in the fall (hopefully), so that is why I got it.

I love that it has the Indiglo feature, too cool. The band is longer than your average leather band, which is fantastic, because I have bigger wrists. The numbers are clear, the date is easy to see, and the red second hand is functional and gives it that "nursie" sort of feel, lol.
The face is just larger than a nickel, but smaller than a quarter.

Oh, I do want to mention that although it is faint, you can hear it tick tock. Other than it not having an actual "sweeping " second hand, and being able to faintly hear the ticking, I'd say it's a great watch!

I had to get a white watch with a second hand for nursing classes. This one is perfect plus it has the Indiglo feature for low light situations. Water proof enough to withstand thousands of hand washings.

I was glad I found this Timex watch. My wife is an RN and had one identical to this for years and loved it. I had a time finding a match to her old one. She was VERY happy to open this gift at Christmas. Hope it lasts her until retirement ! !

As an RN I need a watch with "traditional" time settings and a second hand. It needs to be quite water resistant and able to tolerate being used in sometimes strenuous situations....I've bought two of these, and both quit at around one year into service. I should add mine had the brown "leather" band, not white, but I assume its the same watch on the inside. Has the indiglo which is nice, and so on...but no point mentioning the little things if the blasted watch dies on you!!!! AND, no, its not the battery, took it to a watch repair shop.....

Very disappointed as the larger numerals were helpful and it has a nice clear uncluttered face...but the fact is, this watch is NOT meant for hard usage as it will get being worn by anyone in the health professions. Skip this one, go on and spend a bit more for a slightly better quality one that will last longer!

Women's Timex Easy Reader Watch - Black (NOTE: for people in a program: RN, LPN, etc, unless you HAVE to get white, don't! It will just show dirt, and look old faster. The darker bands: brown, black are fine unless you have teachers with OCD.)

TIMEX Men's 20001 Easy Reader Dressw Watch-----Because men are nurses and technicians too!!!

I was very happy with the purchase of the Timex watch. It was just what I wanted for use at the pool and beach. The white leather strap was not easy to find so I was delighted when I was able to order it.

This watch has gone through hundreds of washes. The reason why I bought this watch was because it would match my bright, white shoes that we had to purchase for clinical rotations. I bought Dankso professional clogs and so this watch matches my shoes. I also wanted a watch just for being on the hospital floor and for no other reason. This watch was rather inexpensive. Furthermore, it has a red second hand for counting respirations and heart rates. The band shows no signs of water damage so far. It even has indiglo which I have never used, but I am waiting to be trapped in a dark closet in the hospital (think romance and passion like Grey's Anatomy). Ha, ha! Just kidding.
