This watch is true to color, and has fairly standard button configurations, making it easy to learn how to operate. It shows hours, minutes, seconds, date, stopwatch, count-down, alarm, second time setting, etc.: a good variety of settings. It appears to be durable, though there is very little metal on the silver part of the face. The plastic texture is soft. I wear it very tightly for running and the gym and it is still more comfortable than my dress watch. I have not tested it in water. It is easy to read with and without the back-light. I have not purchased a better watch in this price range.

I loved this watch at first. Kept time, even through my daily steam room routine. Everyone commented on how pretty it was. 9 months later the band is dingy and dirty looking. I took the band off, scrubbed it, used OXO on it, but it looks the same---faded, dull, a dingy blue. So sad ;-(

This watch came exactly as described and was just what I was looking for. The instructions make it easy to program all the settings. I like the blue illumination for when it is dark, the two time settings, date display(although it doesnt show the month), and second timer. Also, the band is great since it is not cloth and won't absorb odors. Great color too.

I needed a new watch with a countdown timer that was simple to use and not expensive. This watch is all that and looks great too!!

It took me a little bit to set it (not used to digital ones) but I figured it out. It is a really nice watch. Love the purple color I bought, too. I was sitting in a meeting recently and had the urge to stare at my watch as it is really nice looking, but I didn't want to be rude to the person talking. Anyway, you will be happy with this purchase.

I ordered this item along with seven other type and brand watches. It was an awesome present for my doughter. I have been in Afganistan and they arrived in 1 week (quick delivery). This one was defective. I returned it back and Amazon shipped a replacement immediately. But they sent two instead of one by mistake. When I told my complaint about the extra shipment they wanted me accept the extra one as a gift. Perfect customer relations and perfect service. After that time I began to order everything I need from Amazon. As a result, my doughter loved the watch and I loved the service. Thank you Amazon.

This watch looks nice according to my daughter who swims, but she never used it in the swimming pool or the shower, even though it's a "water-proof" watch. She wore it once in a shower recently and the watch doesn't display the digits anymore. What a disappointing birthday gift from her mom! Unfortunately we can't return it to Amazon since it's past 30 days from purchase. Contacting Timex's customer service is such a hassle that I waited 20 minutes on the phone, and they would you send the watch with your receipt back to them (you pay the shipping), with a money order of $8 (you pay the handling fee). I would think I won't bother to do so, and buy a new watch, but stay away from Timex now.

This is an attractive little watch and CHEAP (around $15 + postage) and arrived quickly. It would be perfect if someone would just make a convention for how to set these types of watches and follow it for all of them. This is my 3rd similar watch and each one has a complicated way of setting and using the functions. They don't last forever and by the time I learn how to use the functions without instructions it either dies or I break the strap and I have to search for a new one. That being said, this one is both the least expensive and has the most features. It has a stopwatch function (which I was looking for); indiglo light so you can tell the time during the night; a timer, and even a separate setting for a 2nd timezone. I recommend finding an online pdf file of its instructions and downloading it if you are like me, as I never seem to keep up with the instructions that are packed with the watch. Unfortunately I haven't yet found online instructions for this one.

Once again I love watches and I buy them to go with the outfits I wear. This watch is a beautiful blue and matches the blue I wear. Also it is easy to figure out how to set the time and date.

This works great for my child. It was requested so that it could be worn during swimming, and there was no problem. The timer also works well for a 10 year old's purposes.
