Im sure I can speak for most people when I say that these guys are the most progressive band in melodic punk today. This is quite obvious if you are familiar with the bands earlier work, which was very good, but easily labled emo punk. Their music has changed so much it's hard to believe they're the same band. I haven't found another band with this type of sound yet. While the music is obviously melodic punk, it's still very hard to place a label on it. The music is very easy to listen to, but at the same time very aggresive for a melodic punk band. No sign at all of "jump up and down" sound typical in most melodic punk bands. They're not too poppy and not too heavy. In my mind, Over It gives pop punk a good kick in the ass. The vocals i would describe as emo influenced, the guitars are deep in tone and show some metal influnce, and the fast paced, heavy beats of the drums tie it all together. Just listen and you will see what i'm talking about.

Over It is quite possibly the closest thing to a sure bet on the up-and-coming Lobster Records. Their latest album release is nothing short of excellent fast punk. Songs like Fall, among many others, keep this LP in high gear for a full hour. The album takes a few times through to get used to for an emo-kid like myself, but now I can't get it out of my CD player. A surefire effort by the band, Timing Is Everything encompasses everything that Over It has to offer. I'm excited to hear future releases, but probably won't get tired of this one until another is out on the market. A great album altogether, and a good way to spend your hard-earned bucks.

over it is an awesome band, and this is by far their best cd yet. each cd they've come out with has gotten better and better, and this tops em all. it's a cd you can listen to all the way through, cause each song rocks. if you havent seen em already, they put on an awesome show, with tons of energy. check em out and get their new cd... it rocks

In my opinion, this is one of the most underrated bands and albums in all of music. This is classic Over it and anyone who says they like punk or good music for that matter is seriously missing out. They certainly have a distinct kind of element to their sound. It's extremely difficult to pinpoint however. It's just great, let's leave it at that. A complete album, this disc has fast and creative guitar work mixed with tight drumming and melodic, emotive vocals. These guys have serious talent. This can always be enjoyed. The song "Crush" is still one of my all-time favorites ever. This kind of stuff needs to be more appreciated. Only 4 reviews!!, come on...

I liked this album at first, but then after listening to it more and more I began to love it, which was proof that "Timing is everything" These guys have come a long way, from being a local band playing dances at MV to the warped tour 2002. These guys rock! JUST BUY THE RECORD!!!

Yeah...this cd is pretty good, it was recomended to me by this guy in a locally owned music store and he said it was an all around good cd. I have to admit..alot of it sounds the same, but after a while you pick up the different tones and chords and stuff and u get used to it. My favorite song on it is "serial kisser". this band is fun to listen to and is one of my favorite bands....over it sounds sorta like Yellowcard, Rufio, and off by one, so if you like them...GET THIS CD! Late

over it is an awesome band don't get me wrong, but their style has changed, go listen to "hindsight...20/20" and tell me that they havn't changed. They got played on 99.1 whfs the other day though that was cool.
