We knew he could roll, but this proves Timmy can rock,

Anyone who watches South Park knows that handi-capable Timmy rocks the house. I bought this release as soon as it came out, and I feel fortunate to own it. If you don't watch the show, you may not be aware of the fact that a jealous Phil Collins tried to break up the band and almost succeeded in his evil plot. (I'm sure the fact that a lame Phil Collins song took home the best song Academy Award over South Park's Blame Canada had nothing to do with this particular plot point; the very idea would never even cross my mind.) Skyler's less than successful solo career convinced him to come back to the fold just in time for the big Timmy & The Lords of the Underworld reunion concert. It's true that you only get two tracks on this CD single, but what great tracks they are. First is the song that helped them win the big battle of the bands in South Park, ingeniously titled Timmy & the Lords of the Underworld. On the flip side (well, actually on the same side of the same CD) you get Livin' a Lie. This song is even better than the first, with Timmy really cutting loose on this rocking track. If you're a die-hard South Park fan, you really need to have this Timmy rock and roll tour de force in your collection.

The recipe for awesomeness: One barely competent garage band. A basic rockabilly/psychobilly chord progression that would do the good Rev. Heat proud. And to top it off, a happy-go-lucky mentally retarded quadraplegic chanting, grunting, and yelling the only word he knows throughout the course of the song. Serve at high volume. Irritate your neighbors. Offend your hyper-PC brethren. Rock out!!
Oh, and Phil Collins is the Antichrist.

When I first bought this single in a Baltimore thrift store, I was a bit incredulous. The album cover looked terrible, the packaging was non-existent, and, while, I had regretfully never heard of the band.
Then I put it on the turntable, and everything changed. Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld possibly have the best new sound of the 00s. Their work rivals that of early Velvet Underground in both originality and plain "rockout-ness." Like many bands of our time, they obviously take from more than a few influences; the Stooges, early British DIY, and even Bowie are more than apparent on the record. But regardless of who they are, or where their sound comes from, you should be hearing a lot of Timmy and the Lords of the Underground in years to come. I suggest turning it up.

great heavy metal music,

Although this CD is less than 5 minutes long @ 2 songs, I think it is the best 5 minutes of heavy metal music, guitar riff, drum line, and bass line combinations I've ever listened to... For musicians who aren't really in a band to make such a great album, they expertly combined a lot of the elements I look for in speed metal. I wish I could find more music of this quality and type, anyone know of any great albums like this? I like and already know about Megadeth, Dream Theater, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Smashing Pumpkins, etc... (p.s. I think Metallica is kinda lame because they re-do songs that don't really mean anything to anybody... "Whisky in the Jello Jar-O"? give me a break!)

This album is quite good, on a musical standpoint. It's very silly, of course, but the music is suprising good (especially the song entitled "Timmy Livin' a Lie") When this came out, I was already a fan of the show, but never got around to buying it. I stumbled across is and for the price offered, I thought why not. Well worth what I spent. I only gave it 3 stars because there are only 2 songs on the album. It's what you would expect from an album produced by Parker and Stone, some goofy tunes that you can still rock out to.

This band is groundbreaking, they have opened doors for so many new and upcoming artists. The title track has a sound not yet heard in the music world, the lyrics are highly political and make you think about deep issues pertaining to our society. The second track, Timmy Livin' a Lie, also has a deep and political stand point, making Timmy and The Lords' first album one of the greatest albums of all time.
