As far as keeping liquids hot, this is the best travel mug I have ever owned...and I have owned many. The tumbler keeps my coffee at a HOT temperature (not just warm) until I have finished the last drop. I really like the design and simplicity of this mug as well. As an added bonus, it is very easy to clean. The only negative I have is that it is not fully spill proof. I knocked the mug over the other day and a small amount of coffee did come out onto my desk. It wasn't a whole lot, so clean up was easy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

The lid is GREAT!
If you tip it over, it will leak a bit. That's just not the kind of 100% leak proof lid and that's what I wanted. It's enough to prevent a major mess in the car but you'll have a few drips if it goes tumbling on the floor.

One of the best feature is that fantastic lid.
They have done such a GREAT job of the "lip". It is the most comfortable mug I have ever tried. I can't say enough good things about this great lid. Ohhh and the lid does not drip (as in no dribbles down your chin!). It's a push down lid (as opposed to an annoying screw one lid). I just love it and so will you!

I am amazed at how well this mug works. I was working on a construction site in January in Taos, NM. We had temps of -5 to 25 degrees most days and I discovered that my coffee was still hot after 4 hours!

My fiance and I have two of these mugs that we use all the time, and they work very, very well. If I put freshly brewed coffee or tea in one of them, put the lid on it, and leave it sit for a few hours, it will still be too hot to drink when I come back to it. We like them so much that we got two more as gifts. I only wish that it came in blue.

This is the perfect travel mug. I use it every day as I dont want to put more single use plastic in the bin outside Coffee Bean. I make my husband use it (by pouting) and he even loves it too. It also keep my tea warm for longer than any other Ive had. The lid doesn't leak. It's great!

This is a great product from am amazing company. It is sturdy, lightweight, keeps my drink warm, and has a good lid. Timolino's ONLY product is drink-ware, so they know everything there is to know. They have a great selection, and their customer service is as good as it gets -on par with Apple Retail, Nordstrom's, or the Four Seasons. Call them up directly if you are not sure about a product, they will help you navigate their entire selection and recommend other products that are also in their distribution chain. Their phone number is on their website. If you know you want a colorful mug like this, then buy it with confidence knowing their customer service will help you if you have any second thoughts.

I like my coffee hot and I like to nurse it for half a day. The Timolino mug keeps my coffee or tea warm for the whole day. I haven't found anything that even comes close. I work outdoors on a construction site sometimes on very cold Winter days. The mug holds heat in all day. I don't know how they do it.

I've only owned this mug for 2 days, but already it is my new favorite. It is of high quality construction and very comfortable to hold. As one reviewer already noted, the rounded lip of the mug is very nice and comfortable to drink from...almost like the mug is giving you a kiss -- oo la la! The lid fits nice an snug and the opening of the mug is wider than most travel mugs making it easy to get your hand inside and scrub it out with detergent. This will make it convenient to NOT put it in the dishwasher. Usually I place my travel mugs in the dishwasher against consumer advice because of the narrowness of the mugs making it nearly impossible to clean out with detergent. The mug tapers narrower at the bottom so it can fit in a car drink holder, yet is not so narrow that it is top heavy. Some reviewers complain that the mug doesn't keep your coffee hot for long periods of time...but I normally finish my serving of coffee within an hour or so, and it keeps it plenty hot for that time period. If I have any concern at all, it will be the slider of the lid that keeps it open or closed. I don't see a way to detach it for cleaning, so I hope over time grime doesn't build up in the cracks. Though if it does, it appears Timolino sells replacement lids for a fairly reasonable price of $2.50. I plan to purchase one or two more of these mugs because so far they are the best I've found!

I purchased this based on the great reviews. REALLY??? This didn't my coffee hot for 10 minutes. I even put boiling hot water into the mug with the lid on and let it sit for about 15 minutes to make it hot before I poured the coffee into it.

Still searching for a mug to keep my coffee hot for about 2 hours.
