This review is from: Timon & Pumbaa: Live & Learn [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is good for anyone who wants to obey the law, not pretend to be someone else, or learn to be specific about their wishes. In segment #1, when Timon touched the "Forbidden Stick," the police ran after him and faster than you can say Mulan, Timon hid under a tree stump so the police couldn't track him down. When Pumbaa spoke to the police about Timon, they could tell Timon was really in the stump. When they found out, Timon nervously pleaded innocent and they took him to a somewhat strict rhinoceros disguised as a Judge, who liked to make up new laws. This "Judge" subjected Timon to a series of harming tests, like "The Snake Pit of Virtue" and "The Really Warm Coals of Truth." The last test was the written test. The first question was "Who was the thirty-seventh pres. of the USA," and Timon answered "Arnold Schwartzeneger," which we Americans know is not a president. The 37th president is really Richard Nixon. Finally, Timon and Pumbaa had learned their lesson of obeying the law and moved on to another adventure. In segment #2, Pumbaa realized he would be more happy being himself than a fake elephant. In segment #3, a wish-granting whale made friends with Timon and Pumbaa even though he was not a real whale.I gave this video five stars
