I received this commentary in the condition I expected. I have been trying to collect this entire collection of commentaries from this author because he is so gifted in the Word. I would recommend his commentaries to anyone interested in learning the word.

It's what you would expect from John MacArther - straight forward commentary. Great explanations and thorough coverage of the passages. The book should be an integral part of any study of 1 Timothy.
