Following the same format as his other commentaries, MacArthur's volume on 2 Timothy shines brilliantly. This is due to his heart which beats as a pastor to pastors. Great stuff from a great guy! Soli Deo Gloria

Of all the people I have read since becoming a Christian, John MacArthur has by far influenced me the most. His great insight into the word of God, his attention to detail, and his ability to communicate that information to normal people are tremendous attributes to possess. I currently possess all of the commentaries he has written, as well as many of his other books, they are all wonderful teaching tools. I would recommend them to anyone looking to grow in their faith.
