5.0 out of 5 stars This book is sick February 4, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is sick. I usually have a strong stomach. I could not read this while I ate my dinner. This book made my stomach churn and made me laugh at the same time. The only downfall is i cannot recommend this book to my mom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super December 26, 2011
By Dave M
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am a huge fan of Mark Tufo. The Zombie Fallout series was excellent. I knew this was coming out and jumped on it as soon as it was released. In no way was I disappointed. Very enjoyable read. Must say it is dark with plenty of gore but tastefully done. With a cover like that you just can't go wrong. Great job Mark.

5.0 out of 5 stars A different perspective. December 24, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Have read the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufo and enjoyed them all. His books tend to have well developed characters that draw you in. Timothy was no exception. It is not for the faint of heart and delves a bit deeper into the dark than his ZF series but Is an outstanding read for any zombie enthusiast.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting perspective February 28, 2012
By Jan
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
First off, I love Mark and I read everything that he writes. The ZF series, of course, is my favorite. Because of this, I compare all of his work to that series.

I love the perspective of this book and how it is told...I especially LOVE the ending (which I WON'T talk about, unlike someone else that did a review and did not give a spoiler alert). Timothy is an awesome character and Mark nailed that personality perfectly.

The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars (and I have struggled with this) is because it was just too gross. I just didn't think it was necessary to talk about the "evacuation" piece as much. Mark tells a good story and it would have been great without it.

Thanks Mark! Keep up the good work!

4.0 out of 5 stars Scary/sick read April 12, 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Well, Mr. Tufo, you certainly gave us something to think about with TIMOTHY. And although no one had ever thought about it, how do Zombies eat so much without exploding since that is all they do...eat! I think most people knew this but never thought about it. That was the sick part...the scary....well CLOWN! Who wouldn't be afraid of seeing a stinking 6'5 250 lb. Zombie clown! To make matters worse the damn thing thinks! Timothy is a study most psychology professors would love to tear apart. Somehow Tim has retained some modicum of humanity but shares his conscious with a parasite that makes him a Zombie. If you have read the ZF serious you should know this. The level of anger, hatred and sheer will of survival has given us a Zombie hybrid. To survive Tim must now feed his partners need and that means hunting down people. And hunts he does with some trepidation at first but then with a bit too much joy. I had to put the book down a couple of times because of the darkness, yeah worse than a zombie clown, that surrounded the mind of the man that once was and now is, melding to become a living nightmare. The storyline is good but if you fear clowns this is not one for you or anyone that has the phobia. I will certainly never tell my daughter or son about this one... they will never forgive me. But if you are a Mark Tufo fan and love the ZF series, then this is a must read. The 4 stars was not because it wasn't a great book, it is but the consistent description of bodily functions that could have best been described once and no more. Now I just feel dirty and have to go take several showers before I start on the second installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read in a open well lit room January 18, 2012
By Comms
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Mark Tufo has dug a little deeper in his world of Zombie Fallout. After developing very colorful characters like the Talbot Clan in his anchor series, he has branched out in his last two books, Dr. Hugh Mann and now Timothy. By far and away Timothy is the most disturbing book he has published.

Timothy is the horrifying story of one terrible mans perspective of becoming a zombie. The narrative is down right dark, sadistic and in some instances repulsive. Mark tapped a dark place to write this story. You can never root for Timothy, but you are compelled, forced, to continue reading simply because of the fight that plays out in his mind to not continue the existence he now lives.

I encourage any fan of the Zombie Fallout series or other like minded narratives, to read this book. It is not the usual heroes tale.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome read!!! January 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is awesome true to Mark Tufo's writing style. If you love zombies you will definitely enjoy his Zombie Fallout series. However, I just started reading this book and Im hooked. Timothy is dark and sinister its very descriptive to the point where you can almost smell and feel the surroundings the character is in. I truly recommend this book as well as anything by Mark Tufo he is currently my favorite author and justly so he has yet to disappoint me with any of his books I promise you wont be disappointed!
