Don't be fooled by the small size of this book. Just remember that Loch Ness is not all that large as lakes go but is deep enough to harbor a real or imagined sea monster. It is, admittedly, not a large work. Within it, however, is enclosed the essence of the latest scientific research that, coupled with evolving spiritual consciousness, is changing our very paradigm of existence. Moving from a discussion of "an energy driven universe" to the model of the living body as an energy system with "intelligent communication between all of its parts," TIM's STORY goes on to incorporate this view into an excellent model for the balanced, healthy life. With practical suggestions and good references for further study, Dr. Dodge gives us in concise form his wise foundations for health.

It was a pleasure to read. The short chapters, with mind-catching quotes, and the clear writing made it easy to move with the words. My emotional involvement and the content were in synch. The genre of Tim's story? "Integrative medicine" does not quite capture the essence. The narrative integrates autobiography, science, spirituality, mind, body, and health. It is an excellent guide to empowering self-healing, especially in the areas of nutrition and exercise.
