Tin Machine
Good to see David Bowie exploring even more musical routes through the band Tin Machine, where his name simply appears on a par with the other members of the group. This is where he encounters lead guitarist Reeves Gabrels, who decidedly influences Bowie in his later album "Earthling". Bowie and Gabrels, together with the Sales brothers (Hunt and Tony) go...

There's more than money moving here.
Tin Machine was a hard rock band fronted by David Bowie, with Reeves Gabrels and Hunt & Tony Sales. Bowie and the band wrote all songs, other than a cover version of John Lennon's "Working Class Hero". It's a decent album, although Bowie's voice is buried in the mix. I hate to sound like an old fogey, but I like Bowie's early stuff better.

Good to see David Bowie exploring even more musical routes through the band Tin Machine, where his name simply appears on a par with the other members of the group. This is where he encounters lead guitarist Reeves Gabrels, who decidedly influences Bowie in his later album "Earthling". Bowie and Gabrels, together with the Sales brothers (Hunt and Tony) go back to rock basics and put together an excellent album with very powerful lyrics regarding present day society, for example the tracks "Crack City", "I Can't Read", and "Under the God". If you enjoyed "Earthling" you must add this one to your record collection. I can guarantee you will like this one even more.
