I listened to this CD with only a limited prior familiarity of Ike & Tina Turner and was instantly hooked. This CD had some rockin' tunes & the recording was good. Track 1: "What You See" was a live cut. Some of the songs have interesting sounds mixed in: "shake" contained some cool use of fluttering feedback that sounded like a distorted baseline and "Funky Bull" had a periodic ringing bell that sounded like a telephone. I highly recommend taking this CD on a good treadmill workout.
