Iliked it but it really is a novelette not a novel
I did enjoy reading this, but the length does not justify the original retail price. So buy a used one like I did and i think you will be happy with it.

Not worth the $
Minette Walters is one of my favorite authors, I have enjoyed to a greater or lesser degree every one of her other books. But this is more short story than novel, so while it is fast paced, even perhaps a little memorable, it isn't worth the cost. It is a British-published book, which no doubt accounts for it's high price, but I wish I'd spent my hard earned money on a...

This story is way too short and not interesting enough to justify buying and shipping costs. If you can borrow it from a friend or library, it's a reasonably good way to kill an hour or so.

Minette Walters spins some great yarns full of mystery. The twists and turns take you around some surprising corners to places you wouldn't expect to go. If you are a mystery/suspense fan, her books are a great addition to your library.
