This review is from: Tinderbox (Paperback)
The book does a wonderful job of pointing out the many seemingly irnoic, accidental, or stupid mistakes in foreign policy we have made - with the intention of demonstrating that 100 years of this is no accident. Zunes does a good job at overcoming the idea that you can object to our intentions, however, if you check his citations - you discover how weak it is. It seems everything questionable or unbelievable to me, were cited from journalists. This means his maxims are off, and hurts his ethos. If not for that, it'd be a pretty good book. I would much sooner advise other books, if your curious, let me know.
