I bought this CD and songbook for my daughter and we have loved it! I gave it to her about two weeks before we started potty training as way to talk about the process of going potty and just to make it all a little more fun. She loved the songs and the fun words. She listens to the CD often and we both learned the words to most all of the songs. We would pick one to sing while she was sitting on the potty. The tunes of the songs are familiar to little kids and there are cute, easy to learn words. I have loved this CD and have enjoyed watching my daughter get excited about potty training because of it. This is a must have for those kids who love music.

The book is cute and the songs are fun! My daughter was interested, but not initially in connection with potty training. She eventually wanted the CD and book in the bathroom with her and I think it did help make the experience less stressful for all of us.

This really helped in the first stage of training when we really needed the tot to sit still long enough to relax and do her business! She was much to busy to sit on the pot until she started enjoying the songs in this book. We really only used the CD a few times to learn the tunes, after that we just sang together. Overall I am very happy we got this. It's silly and fun and it works!

I bought this on a friend's recommendation when my older son was just getting interested in potty training. This book & cd definitely made the whole potty training process more fun. The songs are cute, fun & easy to sing. They talk about every stage of potty training, from getting the new potty, using it, having an accident, being neat, wiping, washing hands & night-time potty training. Both of my sons love the cd & will request "the potty song". It has also helped introduce the different steps we go through when using the toilet, including wiping up after ourself if we "sprinkle when we tinkle" (I never had to teach my 4 yo to do that, he just did it, I'm assuming because he'd heard the "if you sprinkle when you go to tinkle, please be neat & wipe the toilet seat" song so often.)

I highly recommend this book & cd. Parenting is more fun when you can sing about the things you are teaching your children!

I bought this for my son years ago and he loved it, I would definitley recommend. Now that my daughter is potty training, I will use it for her. It has some really cute renditions of standard childrens songs. It does teach children about potty use thru music and makes it fun. I know that if something happens to this CD/book I will re-order it's just too cute.

My 18 month old daughter loves this book and music CD. We're just practicing sitting on the potty and she 'reads' the book while listening to the CD. The songs on the CD are just adorable and played to tunes she's already familiar with (humpty dumpty, hokey pokey, twinkle twinkle, etc.). Whether the CD and book will help her "do the tushy pushy and push the poopy out," we're not sure, but she is happy to sit on the potty and read for the length of the CD. Her other favorites are "Once Upon a Potty" book and DVD, and "Where's the Poop?"

This is a quality purchase, if it works for you. The CD is good, the book with illustrations is adorable...but my daughter hasn't been interested in it. I keep trying to play the CD, but she's more interested with the plastic case it's stored in and taking it apart (which it does easily so you may not want to let small hands play with it). Now she's more interested in her books, "Everyone Poops" and "Once Upon a Potty"...and my kid loves music so not sure why she doesn't like it. I'll put this away for now and try again a little later.
