Book Description

Jasmine “Tinker” Bell has always had a love for life, looking forward to any new adventure that happens to come along. When a friend’s experiment creates a portal to another world she finds herself swept into a faraway galaxy she thought only existed in the movies.
J’kar ‘Tag Krell Manok had given up hope of ever finding his bond mate. He is surprised when a pint-size female unlike anything he has ever seen suddenly appears on his spaceship to save the life of his brother during an attack. When she is suddenly taken from him he will do anything to get her back and claim her.
Two different worlds collide when Tink, a mechanic in a small college town, meets J’kar, a Prime warrior from a far off galaxy. When Tink’s life is in danger, only J’kar can save her. Now Tink has to decide if she is willing to give up everything she has ever known and loved to stay with the alien she has fallen in love with.
Will their worlds survive the collision or will they be torn apart?

4.0 out of 5 stars Where is the rest of the book. April 14, 2012

This was a good read. I would of given it five stars, but it seems like the book didn't actually end. It said the end but the story was not complete. I know there is another book after this one, but the way it ended didn't seem right. I really enjoyed the story of Tink and J'Kar, and I was disappointed to see it end after 70 percent of the book. The other 30 percent was letting you take a peak at the author's other books which I have already read, which are great as well. If you want to read something different from the normal vampire and werewolves, I would suggest this book as well as the authors other books.

3.0 out of 5 stars Tink's Neverland August 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The first 60% of the book was kind of boring. There was hardly any interaction between Tink and J'kar. The last part of the book the author made up for it, and the only real interaction between Tink and J'kar was sex. She talked to his crew more than she talked to J'kar. As to someone's review about the book being an excuse for nonstop sex, that is only true from about the last 35% of the book. However I thought this was supposed to be more of an erotica book so I would have expect there to have been more sex throughout the book.

People thought Tink was spunky. It was written like they were trying so hard to make sure you knew she was spunky, they over did it. IT made it more annoying. Because of that I did not think she was that great. SPOILER ALERT!! Then they made her a weepy mess at the end, because she was pregnant. I also agree with the reviewer that stated "Also the authors supposition that after generations an entire planet is having bad sex and need an imaginative virgin to teach them is absurd." I do not review if she was a virgin as I read this a while ago, but I do agree it is stupid that they Tink to tell them how to have better sex.

I usually do not care when people state that an author's story is a rip off of another story. Everyone is going to have something in their story like someone else's. I do want to state even though the story is different, it seems to me like she took lots of ideas from Brides of the Kindred Series by Evangeline Anderson, Zorn Warriors Series by Laurann Dohner, Zylar's Moon Series by Ravyn Wilde, and Trek Mi Q'an series by Jaid Black. This is not necessarily a good or bad thing. I just want to state at least some of them because there are so many of them. First there is the fangs, and the fact that they are sensitive to the touch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved It- Laughed- Great Read July 2, 2012
By Nancy
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I had to write a review since the last few were not too positive. It was a great read... I enjoyed it. I think it was worth every penny. When I buy these books I just want to escape for a while with a good story line and loveable characters. You get that with Tink's Neverland. Yes, there are some grammer issues but it does not hinder the enjoyment of the book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Professional editor needed October 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I am a huge fan of sci-fi and futuristic romance. The story here is good and the characters engaging, but the overwhelming amount of grammatical and syntax errors undermines the whole book. There are innumerable run on sentences, misspellings and a great deal of repetition. Even within the same sentence.

I like the idea behind this story and I think the author has created something unique, but a professional editor should have been employed before this was released.

1.0 out of 5 stars Needed a real editor May 24, 2012
By Krash
Format:Kindle Edition
The biggest problem with the current glut of self-published authors is lack of editing and proofing. Spell check and grammar check can only go so far. In the old paradigm, a promising yarn with decent story-telling would be edited not just for content but for style. Sadly, not so. There is no excuse for the author's sheer laziness, when she's obviously capable of much more. Surely the Shift+F7 keys could have provided some alternative to her using "tonight", "all night", and "tonight" in the first three sentences? The poor sentence structure and descriptive repetitions get in the way of a good idea. I purchased this based on the reviews, but am now thinking they can't have been written by regular readers. And before anyone jumps on me for being a "grammarian", let me ask you to read my review again. The grammar is just an example. She can do better, and should.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tinker November 11, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
SE Smith does sci fi romance so well. I love her dragons series, zion warriors and now cosmos too. Tink is now my heroine. It used to be Riley and Cara. Tink is a little pixie, but she's as strong and tough as they come. Willing to throw down with the best of them, she doesn't bite her tongue and defends herself against surly types. She is curious, prone to finding trouble even on an alien warship. Tink rescues Derik-an alien who Tink just thinks is a kid who needs help. She takes him to his brothers and she meets J'kar. He is the handsome eldest brother of their clan who is immediately smitten with Tink. As a Prime warrior, J'kar knows females at mating age are few and far between. He has never seen anything like Tink before and he knows she belongs to him. J'kar tries to keep Tink but she's not having it and neither is Cosmos -her friend and roommate. He is the one who has created a portal from their world (Earth)to the alien ship. He pulls her back to Earth, but J'kar is on the hunt to get her back. When her life is threatened, Cosmo lets J'kar take Tink back to his ship to save her. J'kar has plans to claim her and keep her with him. I loved how OTT possessive J'kar is with Tink. The sex talks were hilarious, especially when J'kar's parents ask about it. I loved Tink's reaction to her little surprises. I could read this book and laugh forever!
