5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent page-turner. Highly recommended., May 10, 1999

This review is from: The Tinner's Daughter (Hardcover)
Although I am not generally a reader of historical / romantic fiction, I enjoyed this book a great deal. A compulsive read, it is very difficult to put down, giving a great sense of imvolvement with the characters. The interest of the book is enhanced by the well-researched details of life in the past, and (most importantly) how these details affected ordinary people. Thoroughly recommended.
