This review is from: The Tinnitus Handbook (Paperback)
I was at my "wits end" with the constant ringing in my ears. My doctor prescribed anti-depressant medication that only made the ringing worse--much worse. I found the natural remedies in the TINNITUS HANDBOOK--A SELF HELP GUIDE really helped. I now live a normal live without the agonizing sounds that used to torment me. I rcommmend the book without reservation. I have read the other books but found no hope of soutions in them. I recommmend this book if you want to rid yourself of tinnitus. God bless you.

Contains wealth of info on natural and alternative remedies,

This review is from: The Tinnitus Handbook (Paperback)
I have read virtually every book ever written on the topic of tinnitus--only this book contains natural and alternative treatments that helped get rid of the agonizing ringing and other sounds in my ears. For example, one sugested remedy in the book is the herb gingo biloba. I started taking this herb daily and within a few weeks a miracle happend. For the first time in years the ringing in my ears stopped. I understand gingo stimulates the circulation in the ears and alleviates the tinnitus symtoms. I would recommend this bood to anyone suffering from tinnitus symptoms.

A Balanced Treatment,

This review is from: The Tinnitus Handbook (Paperback)
The Tinnitus Handbook provides a very readable overview of the topic and some of the possible explanations and remedies. I especially liked the objective presentation of alternative medical treatments. The book could be improved by color illustrations of the middle and inner ear to make the physiological descriptions clearer. But, I suppose, that would have meant an increase in price. I highly recommend the book to those suffer from tinnitus and to those who live with those who suffer.

...I found some of the info in this book informative but as a sufferer of tinnitus I am quite knowledgable of this condition. I thought this book might give me some new info and insight into my condition. If you don't know much about tinnitus this may be a good book for you but much of the info in these pages is already out there online.

By chauncy alfano (usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Tinnitus Handbook (Paperback)
The book is a complete resource for understanding tinnitus. What is even better, the book is written in a way that is factual, easy to read, and easy to understand. The variety of treatments gave new answers and realistic approaches. The homeopathy section was very enlightening as well as the acupressure ideas.
