This mobile is FANTASTIC! Unlike other travel mobiles which have to be wound up by hand, this one is battery operated. So you can just turn it on and it will stay on until you turn it off- no automatic turn off. Also, it has two modes- one which plays music while it spins and the other is mute- so no music while it spins. I love the two sides- black and white for when they are little and then little soft, stuffed bugs that hang down for when they are bigger. Also- it has two ways to attach it- a large lobster claw and also a velcro strap for those places where the claw won't fit.
My little boy- 4 mo. old, loves it! I really hesitated to buy it because I thought $25 was a little excessive for a car toy but I've realized you can use it anywhere! We've used it in the infant carrier, on his bassinette, etc. A lifesaver on those two hour drives to visit our relatives! We've had it three months and used it quite frequently and still have not had to replace the batteries.
A great buy!

We bought this for our infant carrier and it hangs very low and close to our baby's face. The clip also slips and does not hold on tightly to the bar, and the velcro is not secure enough to rely on alone.

We also thought it would be good to hang on our pack n' play, but it is too heavy to clip on anything. We returned it and found that just hanging little animals on the bar are better than swinging a heavy mobile an inch or two from her face!

We were given this mobile as a gift from a friend who had recently had a baby. Their baby loved it so they gave us one. Our son LOVES this mobile. It's perfect for newborns and equally wonderful as they grow and their vision develops. Our son is now 3 months old and loves watching the little animals go around. He get a huge smile on his face as soon as he looks up at it. It attached well to the handle on his car seat. I've already purchased one for a shower gift for another couple.

I bought this mobile to attach to my son's carseat since he hates riding in the car and I hate hearing him cry. Unfortunately it is really very heavy and I worry that it would injure him in an accident so we are not using it for the carseat after all.

i never write reviews but my baby sleeps in the car seat at nite and is in it a lot at the babysitter so i needed something to keep him entertained. this does it!! it fits beautifully to my Graco snugride car seat. i take off the clip, take off the velcro and then revelcro it around the handle - it takes practice but it works and fits great!!! it never falls off. my baby is now 12 weeks and i have it for at least 7 weeks. its great for newborns b/c its has black, white and red on one side and when they get a little older you flip the little pieces and pull the animal down. u can also have it just go around without noise. my baby loves the music so i never use that feature and i havent had to replace the batteries once yet. everyone who seems me with it tells me they want it too! the smartest thing for the car seat!

We used it slightly differently than envisioned by Tiny Love--instead of clipping it on the car seat bar, we strapped it onto the overhead "handlebars" in our car, so that baby was looking at it whenever we strapped her into our carseat.

She used to fight so hard and complain the whole time we were strapping her in, but now she waits patiently and stares at the mobile to wait for us to get it going. Then she listens and watches intently as it goes--even though she's now 8months old!

I bought this for my son when he was about 3 months old. He has enjoyed playing with it. The music was soothing to him. Initially he used to love watching the bugs go around on the mobile. When he was about 6 months old, he started pulling at the bugs and enjoyed playing with them for long periods of time. It has made shopping and car trips a lot easier because of this. I have recommended it to everyone I know with babies. Loads of people at the shops have wished that they had this mobile when their kids were younger!

I bought this for my daughter when she was maybe five weeks old and she loves it still at 12 weeks! She loves it when riding in the car or when she's strapped into her travel system. It keeps her entertained while she's awake and lulls her to sleep when she's tired. It attaches right to the carrying handle of the car seat and will also attach to the (First Years Carry Me Near) bassinet while most mobiles are only for the crib. The songs are repetitive but I find myself humming along.

I have this clipped onto the canopy on the bassinet, it's a great product for the size and price. It clips on beautifully and is very secure, I have never seen it budge or slip as yet. The music is great, it plays quite a variety of songs as well as plays continuosly too. The music is soothing and you really get used to it quickly,not at all irritating or tinny sounding. I am pleased with this little mobile, it's really versatile with the clip as crib mobiles aren't suited to using on a pack and play. You can also clip it onto just about anything else including a play mat etc. I would buy this item again.

And by awesome, I mean awesome along the lines of the Ocean Wonders swing -- only better. This thing has saved me from throwing myself into oncoming traffic on the freeway when my munchkin is in a less than sunny mood (particularly during traffic jams). If your kiddo is like mine and is one of two children in the country who does NOT fall asleep on car rides, this mobile is not optional -- it's mandatory equipment!

I love that it has two modes -- a black/white/red mode for the little newborns, and a bright and colorful mode for the 3mos+ crowd. My little one was over 3 mos premature, so it was very important for me to have toys that would stimulate her eyes early on.

The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that the first one I had broke on the first day we used it. Unfortunately, it was during a 2 hr traffic jam, and Sunshine was not pleased. That being said, the good folks at our BRU exchanged it for a new one without problem, and the new one has been working beautifully for a few weeks now.
