Great for kicking!,

My 7 week old son LOVES these chimes. I bought them to clip on a playmat (not the Tiny Love playmat, but another brand and it still worked) and hooked them on so that he could kick and he loves them. He will lay there for 30 min-1 hour and entertain himself. I was going to invest in a playmat made specifically to encourage kicking, but decided to try these first for a fraction of the price. Man am I glad I did!!

My daughter loved these chimes when she was just a young baby - the chime sounds are pleasing and not "tinny" - she would gaze at them when she was really small (I had them hanging over her playmat), and they were the first things she reached for when she starting learning how to grab. Even at nine months, my daughter still loves to play with them, shaking them with great glee! I highly recommend these chimes - well worth the money.

Since we were using a bassinet and not a crib, I couldn't use a mobile, but I was able to clip it on and let her look at it. Now she's 8 weeks old, and we've clipped it to her gym so she can reach it. She loved swipping at it, and is now getting better at hitting it on command. She loves it!
