Love the bottom zipper for the diapers, lotions, and etc.
The outside pocket can fit the diaper wipes and tissues.
Perfect bag for going on short trips.

I'm a first time mom and have been trying to find the right balance of what I must have with me and what I don't. This bag holds what I feel is a good minimum for shopping trips, meeting friends for lunch, etc. The bottom storage area is terrific!! I plan to add this to my list of standard baby shower gifts.

It is blue, but it is a very dark blue.

The reason I bought this bag is because it got good reviews but after using it for a couple of weeks I ended up replacing it with the hospital diaper bag. first of all the pockets are not very wide so if you put something bulky in one of the pockets it will take up the space from the other pockets. I thought the bottom would be perfect for my stuff but it is a pain to have to get into the bottom part and if you dont have the bottom part packed with stuff then the bag will not stand up. Also there are no outside pockets for smaller stuff and it is not nearly big enough for a water bottle or even 8 oz. bottles(not tall enough)I was not "fooled" by the color. It is navy but that is not a big deal.The bag i got at the hospital was much more practical for quick trips. For longer trips I got the messenger bag from baby innovations(perfect bag). Hope this helps

I really like this bag because of the design. My only disappointment was that it was NAVY BLUE and I wanted a black diaper bag.

I purchased this diaper bag about two weeks ago and just returned it today for the Eddie Bauer Manchester Midi Bag. Overall, the Micro Roma Midi was a good bag. The compartments were organized in a great manner and made finding things inside quite easy. The outer velcro compartments were perfect for holding everything I needed--checkbook, keys, pen, lipstick, etc. And I LOVED the bottom compartment--stored my wipes, a diaper for each kid, and the mesh pockets held my diaper rash cream and a small powder.

The drawbacks: the strap was incredibly short. I found it very difficult to reach in and grab something out of the bag while holding my 1 year old and restraining my 2 1/2 year old. The inside isn't all that roomy once you put two sippy cups inside. And regarding sippy cups: this bag doesn't accommodate very tall ones. If you use the larger Playtex insulated cups, the bag will not zip. Also, once you have the sippys inside, the bag folds over slightly.

All in all, this is a good bag, though it didn't suit my needs. Maybe if you just have one child, it would work better. I had purchased it for quick trips to the store, church, or the playground. I think the Eddie Bauer bag will work much better for me.

My husband calls me a "diaper bag addict!" This is like my 5th one and I can say I'm in love with this one! It's small and very fashion. Although on the inside it's a little bit small to put my daughter's cloth in (leave a 2nd bag for extra clothes in the car!), the extra side pockets will help and for the price, what more can you ask for?

Stylish bag, no doubt, but less room inside than I thought there would be. I stuffed the changing pad in the bottom pocket which helped. Otherwise great mesh pockets, zippers etc. I read a lot of these reviews before I bought it and I see where the color confusion came in. Some parts of the day it looks black, others it is clearly navy blue. Either way, it's a stylish little tote and a heck of a lot less expensive than Kate Spade!!

Ok, so after two kids I finally got it right! This bag is wonderful. After reading the other reviews, I bought this bag, and I am so glad I did. The zipper compartment on the bottom is perfect for holding wipes and even a couple diapers. The velcro compartments fit all my stuff, while the large compartment fits babies needs and even has pockets for bottles, lotions and even my cell phone. Only complaint, it needs to be in black.

At the beginnig I thought I would love this bag, but a few things got to me, and I just ordered the Baby Innovations Mini Messenger Bag. The Micro Roma Midi is spacious without being too big, and it looks nice. But the side pockets where I put my stuff have velcro and not zippers, and I'm always worried that my wallet or cell phone will fall out. And if I don't pack the bottom compartment perfectly, the whole thing will flop over. I didn't think the navy thing was such a big deal, but I'm tired of it. Black is easier, it matches everything alse I have - coat, gloves, wallet, etc. It is too high - wider and shorter is better, it makes it easier to find things. So does a light interior, and this one's dark. For this price, though, you can't really complain, and if you're not as picky as me, you may like it.

The best thing about this bag is that I use it as a purse AND a diaper bag. And I don't just mean that I put my own things in it; I actually carry it as a purse when my toddler isn't even with me. That way I don't have to move things back and forth. It's a perfect size for me (I also have a Land's End Do-It-All bag which is way too big). It has held up very well in the 18+ months I have been using it and is easy to clean. And by the way, my bag is definitely BLACK! (I even double checked to make sure I wasn't crazy!)
