My 9 week old son just loves this mobile so much. He refused to stay in his pack n play bassinet while awake until I set this up for him. I think he likes this one more than the Precious Planet one in his crib. He talks to it and tries to bat at the little animals. Definitely one of the best purchases I have made. I also clip the mobile onto his car seat if we are out somewhere or to calm him down when getting ready to leave home. The music is not annoying either and volume on it is also great.

It's not the cutest mobile or the largest mobile ever, but for our purposes, we LOVE it! It fit great on the cradle until our infant moved into the crib. It went smoothly from the cradle to the crib - the attachment is great. I think it helped the transition from beds as well. It fits onto the pack and play well which I think helps him still feel secure with the familiar mobile no matter which "bed" he's in.
I LOVE that you can choose between movement with music or JUST movement (no sound). I think all the mechanical/electronic mobile music sounds are always way too loud. The movement sound, which it does make, is simply like a white noise. I actually like the white noise it creates, because I think it helps drown out some of the bustling household noises during nap times for him.
I was hoping for a beautiful mobile that would coordinate with the decor, and it's sort of tacky-baby-toyish in that way. It's also sort of small sized mobile and the the toys are sort of cute. However, the functionality is great and he REALLY loves watching it and falling to sleep watching it, which is really it's purpose anyway!

I love how small this mobile is! The melodies are soft, and I even find it relaxing. I also love how easy it is to switch between the clamp types. Adjusting how the mobile hangs (horizontal/vertical) is a plus, thanks to the stretchy strap attachment. You can't go wrong with this mobile.

I can say that as a mother of a 10yr old and 10 week old, that this has been the best item I have ever had for a baby!. It doesn't have to be wound up, it plays for 30 minutes straight, it is bright and stimulating, and can be put in the crib, play yard, and car seat! It has been a lifesaver when traveling, or when trying to soothe the baby for bed/naps. Even my husband agrees it is amazing. In addition, the price is unbelievably inexspensive! I will buy this for every babyshower I go to for the rest of my life.

I like that this is portable, and I usually like the "tiny love" brand, but the mobile moves too slow, and there is no way to secure the arm from swinging around (we like to use it in the car to help distract and upset baby). Since the arm swings around, a parent has to hold it if you use it in a moving vehicle. On the positive side, I like that you can shut the music off and my 2-3 month old is entranced by the mobile.

This is the perfect travel mobile. No, it is does not have all of the "bells and whistles" of the Tiny Love Classic Mobile (which I have reviewed on Amazon), which my grandchild has in her crib at home. But the Classic unit is too cumbersome for travel, while this unit is nice and compact. Here is what I like:
1. This easily attaches to the Pack N Play that we bring for travel purposes. One of the negative reviews says that this unit is too small for the Pack N Play, but my grandchild is absolutely mesmerized by it, so I don't put much weight in that critique.
2. Unlike the Classic, this has only one volume level (as opposed to two) and no selection for the sounds (the Classic has three different buttons). But none of that matters. The volume and music are both fine. You can also mute the music and just let the mobile spin. One of the negative reviews complains that the unit makes a noisy grinding sound, but frankly I can barely hear anything. Again, the judge is my four month old grandchild, who loves this unit.
3. One of the negative reviews complains about a possibly dangerous battery problem. Without knowing all of the facts I can't comment, except to say that I have not heard of any Consumer Product Safety issues with this unit.
4. This unit also easily attaches to a car seat. However, my grandchild likes to stare up at a mobile, and attaching this to a car seat does not present the same view as attaching it to a Pack N Play, so my grandchild was not entertained by it in her car seat. However, I have read other reviews where children were entertained by this mobile. Like many other things, it all depends on the individual child.
Bottom line: When my grandchild gets "fussy", this unit is a perfect way to calm her down. I recommend it for travel.
Update May 23, 2011: Just returned from a nine night family vacation during which my four month old grandchild slept in the Pack N Play every night, and sometimes lay awake in it during the day with this mobile unit attached to the Pack N Play. It attached easily, was removed quickly, and definitely entertained my grandchild when she was awake.

This mobile is amazing! It attaches to the side of our Graco Pack'n Play, to the top of his car seat, and it can also be hung from the side of his changing table w/ the clip that is included. The first time I used it for our son, he stopped crying and couldn't stop looking up at the bright colors.

This mobile is awesome. You do not have to wind it up after 20 seconds every single time, it runs off of batteries, and you can choose to have it play with music or without. It is so great because you can attatch it onto everything! The crib when you don't want to continue winding up the one that came with the babys bedding. You can tighten it onto a Rock and Play sleeper! You can tighten it onto a playpin or bassinet. You can also put in on the carseat/stroller with the velcro part! I actually always use the velcro part for the stroller and the carseat, so I use the hook for other toys to hang them on other items. The music turns off automatically after 15 minutes, and my babygirl loves to stare at the cute little colorful animals. It is one of my favorite top five items, and everywhere I go, I have it attached to what she is in! I get asked all the tim where I got it. I got it on sale for $20 at babies are us with a 20% off coupon. The only thing is the company needs to make the box it comes in more attractable to parents, and show better pictures of it, and what it does, because when I saw it in the store I did not want to buy it, my mother made me, and I am so glad that she did. The music is also not annoying, and is very soothing! I would recommend this product to every parent. I also like that the colors are unisex if you get the green one.

This mobile fits nicely on my Arm's Reach Mini Co-sleeper - just make sure you put the mobile right over the middle (and thickest) part of the ledge. It's been with my daughter since birth, and she's now 4 months old. It took a little bit of getting used to (probably about 1 month), but the soothing music is now a great help in putting her to sleep. I took off a star from the rating because the switch that changes between the OFF/Music/Mobile Only positions is hard to flip with one hand. I tried to do that a few times with my free hand while I have my daughter in my other arm, and I ended up almost knocking the mobile over. Also I wish there was volume control on this thing. But overall this is a great product and well worth the money.

This is a really super mobile. I got this when my baby was one month old, and he loved looking at the moving animals right away. One month later he's still very taken up with it and he falls asleep to it. The animals are angled just the right way for him to see them, and move slowly enough so he can follow them. One reviewer mentioned the music is too soft. It is a little on the soft side, but that's what makes it soothing - it's not jarring and loud and doesn't keep him awake. It runs for 30 minutes at a time which is plenty - my baby often falls asleep before the music stops. It helps him fall asleep on his own, and sometimes if he's not fully asleep, once the music stops he wakes up, and falls asleep once it's turned on again. This may not be as fancy as some of the other mobiles out there, but it really is a great mobile. One reviewer noted that it could fall on baby's face. Not so if you make sure it's screwed on tight - just like any other mobile.
