My 2 year old adores this toy. He loves all the different buttons and the songs. Yes it makes a lot of noise but if noisy toys bother you maybe kids aren't your thing?

Love this phone. It's a "cordless" so he can walk and talk! My son loves to push all the buttons and watch the large screen light up.

The other reviewer is right on ... this toy is annoying and keeps trying to engage the child for too long after no one is playing with it (seems to be a vtech thing). The theme song is obnoxious and gets stuck in your head, it's played over and over again while the toy is being played with. My child doesn't use it much but does like to carry around the phone part.

Even when compared with other noisy light-up toys, this toy is annoying. It's extremely loud, and there's no volume control. It tries to "re-engage" your child, which means that just when you think the torture is over, it starts talking again despite the fact that no button has been pressed. Worst of all, it's theme song "who is calling" will stick in your head and haunt your dreams. Save your sanity and go for something simpler, like Fisher-Price Toddlerz Chatter Telephone
